I remember the doomsday

Whenever a game was being announced for any date post-Mayan death calendar, I always had a tiny worry the world would implode before I could play them.

Just remembered that idiotic thought of mine. Move along.

Ragnarok is predicted to happen next month. February 22nd to be precise.

 

But how will I ever get Metal Gear Rising 2. Stupid apocalypses should wait.

 

Ragnarok ? Interesting. I mean Jesus told us his dad would rid the world of evil and yet there' s still evil everywhere. Odin on the other hand told us he' d rid the world of ice giants, and I don' t see any ice giant around.

 

I am more concerned my life is too dictated by game launches than people I care about.

But please, continue.

 

Ragnarok is best apocalypse.

 

IT WAS PROPHESIED THE ANCIENT TABLETS THAT GLOWED AT THE TOUCH OF A MAN'S FINGERTIPS. MANY SPOKE OUT AGAINST THOSE PROPHECIES. THEY WERE AFRAID OF FACING THE TRUTH. THAT IS WHY TODAY, THE ZOMBIES ROAM FREE OUT THERE WHILE WE ARE SAFE IN HERE. IN THE VAULT. MY CHILDREN, NEVER VENTURE BEYOND THE VAULT FOR THE WORLD THAT ONCE WAS IS NOW DEAD.

But then you could live the apocalyptic scenario instead of playing it! Minor inconveniences about being able to actually die aside, aren't games all about immersion these days?

 

Ragnarok? How many more apocalypses do we have to survive before all these predictions end?

 

And Fallout is a favourite of mine and all, but I would rather not suffer immersion pain of my skin falling from my muscle or the taste of thick, dust filled air.

Not to mention, games are fun. I have an inkling the end of the world wouldn't be.

 

Well, I mean technically if the past or certain cultures didn't consider leap years, wouldn't it have all happened by now?

 

That would presume we on the internet had ever seen proof of this Mayan calendar.

Actually, from now on, I am instigating a hunt for a person who has seen or has evidence of this end of world thing.
I appeal!

 

And I remember how Doomsday should have ended.
