    Except that officer broke the law by not providing proof of his authority. Breaking the law is much worse than arguing with the law, isn't it?

    Not all laws are good, you know. How do you expect society to improve if we never question what our superiors do? Not to mention some laws tend to be unconstitutional.
    In this case, while the guy was being a bit douchy, the officer had the obligation to show his ID.
