And omg, so I like, really hate how when you're fighting Sephiroth at the end inside the crater, you get so excited when he is easy to beat, and you beat him, and happy that it wasn't hard because you haven't saved in a while cuz you weren't able to... and then... WTF!!! YOU HAVE TO FIGHT HIM AGAIN?! AND HE'S HARDER?! HE HAS OVER 80k HP?!

Did anyone else get extremely annoyed by this?

Welcome to Final Fantasy final bosses. FFIV had a 2 form final boss, same with FFV, FFVI had a 4 form final boss and FFIX and FFX had a thing for sending you against multiple bosses in a row without even a chance to heal (though, in the case of FFX, it was litterally impossible to lose against the last chain of bosses due to auto-life being casted on the party.)

I kind of expected when i first played the game. It was way to easy to be a final boss. And well I played FF8 before 7 and the final boss ultimecia has like 3 different stages to her!.
But yea I found it annoying to and hope I didnt die LOL but hey thats how the game goes >.<

Safer Sephiroth was rather easy for me, I had 9999 health on each of my characters, I started with Shell and then just wailed on him, when he finished with his super long Supernova move, I used a Megalixer on my team and used Tifa's limit break to end the fight.

I'm no longer surprised by the multiple final form bosses that the Final Fantasies are now known for.

As for FFVII, I remember Sephiroth, but thanks to the internet, I knew what was coming. The first form wasn't all that hard at all. I had a harder time with the second one(Dohnut Jupiter! AHOY!), but I beat him the first time around.

In Final Fantasy XII you have to fight Vayne Solidor, Vayne Novus, and The Undenying all in a row without any save point in sight.

I remember I once fell asleep when fighting Bizarro Sephiroth.

It was like, 4 in the morning and I dozzed off for some moment, woke up again to actually find my party still hanging there. I must have snoozed for a good 10 minutes though.

    what was I doing wrong

Don't worry about it, SE does it in all of their games. You just have to have the right equipment or just over power the bosses by leveling up to the max.

Man FF7 was awesome! I had a hard time beating it, but I enjoyed it a lot!

  13. You do know that you get a custom Save Point that you can set up anywhere in the crater, right? If not then check your inventory, but be sure you want to put it where you choose, you can't move it after you've set it.

I wasn't surprised when I had to play Sephiroth the second time and he came back with Wayyyyyy more HP. I kind of predicted it after the first time beating him I didn't have much trouble at all. I had a feeling he would come back harder and stronger than previous times.

Actually I placed it a spot where I almost died inside the crater, but not close enuf to a good spot to save b4 I fought Seph, and it had been so long since I've played it that I was't sure where to put it D8

He murdered me, and since I was playing at a friends house, I just gave up and let them beat him for me. It was so pathetic, it only took them twenty or thirty minutes. I felt like an idiot.

Pft. 20-30 minutes? Legend of Dragoon had Melbu Frama in a fight that took 3 HOURS to fight 7 forms.
