Kingdom Hearts I never noticed...

The giant black heart behind the door to Kingdom Hearts. It's gone after it gets locked and disappears.

he means the massive darkside on Riku's side of the door at the very end.

 

It probably disappeared, because Sora locked the door. I think it was a variation of the heartless sign.

Actually, it's in the clouds on Sora's side. Blends in very well with the backround.

I never saw it either.Darkside was there.Hm..Next playthorugh I'll look for him.

 

I noticed it when replaying KH1 after playing KH2. I remembered Nomura saying that the Heart-Shaped Kingdom Hearts wasn't thought of during the 1st game, and that the game's box didn't include it for any particular reason. So I got curoius and watched closely when that huge door appeared.
And yes, a huge black heart. Very well hidden. But it could just as well be a simple decoration.

No no, the huge black heart BEHIND the KH door. By "behind", I don't mean "after it's open", but physically behind the door's structure ; in the realm in which Sora remains.
There are black clouds all over the place. But if you look closely, you can see a giant black heart, blending with the clouds.

I never really noticed this.
What could it do with the story? I mean, could it be like the one above The World That Never Was? Could it appear again in future Kingdom Hearts games? It'd be fun to see if that actually had a point in the story.
