I need....

Inspiration! I'm trying to write a short story for my college but I can't seem to find any inspiration.

NOTE: This is not a homework assignment. It's for the college's Writers' Club

What feel are you aiming for? Do you want to write a romance, a mystery, a thriller, an adventure, what are you going for?

 

It's a romance. It came to me in a dream so I just began to put it down on paper.

 

Ohh, fun! Well then, what I do if I need inspiration, I listen to music as I'm writing. So if you're writing a romance, I recommend listening to love songs or romantic movie soundtracks. If the music gets me in the right mood, I usually write a lot better and faster.

 

Hmm, sounds easy enough. I'll try one method too!

 

I must have that unique charm. XD

But yeah, listen to music, relax, hear the sounds when you're almost sleeping you will start to make the story in your head. Just be calm and write. =)
