Kingdom Hearts I need help on the last Riku Battle in Hallow Bastion on Expert

No matter how many times I try I die :(
When I deplete his health fast with getting High MP and use Ars Arcanum and have potions and elixirs. I get him to the last bar, and he uses Teleport Rush at least 10 times and then I'm out of potions, and I die. Can anyone help me?

I'm lvl 40 or something and I'm equipping Lady Luck for more MP, too.

 

when he rushes, high jump and glide around the arena, if you dont have high jump, go to monstro and get it

 

And don't waste your MP on things like magic or Ars Arcanum when you don't have to. Ars Arcanum can be helpful if there's an attack you just can't dodge, because it makes you invincible, but unless you're very close to taking away his last bits of HP, save your MP for Cure.

Like Smack said, get High Jump. That with Glide and Dodge Roll are crucial to dodging his attacks. I found the ability counter to be extremely helpful in this fight, too.

Suggest you cast Aero as well, this is quite useful, and may deflect some attacks.

Also, I've notice that using Gravity in the beginning takes his HP away massively, but starts to not take it away when his HP is low.

 

he was easy for me i use the hercales keyblade and when he did that crazy attack u are talking about fly in the air with high jump and glade

 

I suggest leveling up, getting high jump and glide then using Oblivion (if you have it). Take TONS of ethers and potions (mainly ethers).
Then run around, beat the shiit outta that emo ****** bag and run away when he uses emo-mode to try and kick your ass.

 

By any chance is there a way to grab Oblivion before the fight? Because IIRC, it's only accessible after you beat him.

Also, use Olympia. It's better at this job than Lady Luck.

 

Impossible due to the fact that the scene prior to fight starts at the base of the stairs.

One way I found to avoid altogether Dark Aura is to hug one of the barriers as he can't reach that far.

Olympia or Fairy Harp. I remember Fairy Harp helping a lot, but I could be wrong, I haven't played in a while.

When he's about to use the attack were he raises spots of concentrated electricity, glide for as long as you can.

When he throws his blade at you, try your best to deflect it, good for technical exp.

And have lots of elixirs equipped in your item slots.

 

On the subject of keyblades I find that Metal Chocobo helps a lot because of it's reach.

Besides that just try to conserve your MP until the end. If gliding doesn't work well for you this method is more complex but if you get good at it you can stop dammage evertime. First off, never go to the center of the circle. all of his dashes go there. Then if you run to where he was durring his last pass he won't go there on his next pass. Obviously though he maves fast so there are times that you just can't move to position fast enough and have to rely on luck. Try not to waste much MP on offensive magic and limits you'll need as much as you can for cure and areo if you feel you need it.

 

you should use the fairy harp, Aero magic and have more ethers than another thing. use ars arcanum and then use ethers. that's how I defeat them. and try to be with aero al the time
