    Hmm, that's a tough one.
I'd probably go with something like Saw, Resident Evil, House of the Dead, or Dawn of the Dead.
Oh wait, I suppose there's Cursed. That's a really good werewolf movie

I'll do a proper answer this time.
I've not seen many scary movies but it'll probably have to be Shaun of the Dead. I know it's a comedy but I actually found it to be more frightening than the Dawn of the Dead remake. Yep, a comedy was actually scary at points while a serious horror film bored me to death.

The Grudge or any of the Nightmare On Elm Street series (except the remake! Hated it.)

One where I've actually been scared of...

Chucky freaked me out but I was a kid... Human centipede freaked me out too more recently...
Um, no film has ever scared me for a good number of years but back then I was scared by anything.

Ichi the Killer is suppose to be bad.

The Shining scared the living daylights out of me as a kid. I saw the newer one and I remember that lady ghost or whatever in that one room. You don't forget something like that. Everytime I went to take a shower after that i always made sure there was no dead lady or something.

The scariest movie I have ever seen is probably Return of the Living Dead. Actually jumped at some points.

... Notrly, but in all honesty I've never seen a scary movie. Time to change that.

    Interesting...

For me, my favorite scary movie all around is Scream 4; I can never get bored of that movie. But if it was my favorite scary movie that is meant to be scary, that would be The Last Exorcism.
