I keep seeing an advertisement for this show called King of the Nerds,

and it's pretty obvious that they just picked the most stereotypical nerd-looking guy to be the face of the show, and then just payed a bunch of other average joes to fill out the show and act like nerds.

To be honest it kinda makes me sick, will never watch.

 

Pretty much the most ******ed idea I've ever seen.
Just full of stereotypes and girls who think their nerds because "XD I have glasses XD" or "XD I play Skyrim I must be a nerd XD"
I miss the days where nerds where looked down and ignored, that way we wouldn't have annoying shows like this or dubbed down games because "they have a bigger audience now, CASUALIZE IT TO DEATH!"

 

I don't mind people who are labeled nerds becoming more accepted, though this is not that.
What this is doing is treating nerds like that one kid in school who hung out will the cool crowd, but the only reason they let him was because he was good for a few short laughs, to be more precise, they were using him for their amusement while not taking him seriously or liking him for who he is, but if asked they would call him their friend. I know because I was that guy at one point.

 

They're probably trying to copy off that show Big Bang Theory.

 

It looks alright, so I'll watch at least the first episode. Don't knock it 'till you try it, after all. If it's good, I'll watch it all. If it's not, I'll leave the TV on and glance over at it whenever something catches my ear.

What in the world was this supposed to be?

 

Everything on the network in question is being advertised by The Big Bang Theory. As in the cast of the Big Bang Theory are doing commercials to advertise for other shows. King of the Nerds is pretty much one big advertisement for the Big Bang Theory.

Still one of my favorite shows.

 

I do love me some nerd.
