358/2 Days I just want to know this one thing

I'm guessing some of you have already played the Japanese version of the game or something.
Are the Organization itself, and its members other than Roxas, Axel and Xion, in any way elaborated upon? Their purpose, their personalities?
In other words; how big are their roles (in general, I don't need to know each of their contributions separately) in the game?

I'd like an answer to this because focusing on Roxas all the time seems kind of dumb. Not to mention he's not exactly the most interesting of the lot either. Thanks for answering, boys and girls.

 

they are not really in the whole story, they are usually just there in the throne room or just some other place

Kind of. Now the characters are seen and talk with Roxas so we learn how they react with another Organization member.
Plus theres a series of reports about the game with each organization memeber writing at least one. They talk about current events, Xion and Roxas

They're basically extras, which is very sad considering the possibilties

From what I've read of Roxas's journal in 358/2 it sounds like it's thats the case.
