Chain of Memories I just thought of this now...

    I had Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, and my game is screwed up I think. All of or most of the doors are open, and I keep having to go back and fourth and can't find cards for certain doors and so on... I don't even know how to start a new game. I do not have an instruction booklet (do not ask me why) and don't know how to restart or anything. Can anyone help me?

    Restart a game by going to "New Game" or if on Riku's level go to "Start New Game: Riku"

    Actually, now that I think about it, restarting is a bit strange in CoM. What I do is load the game (since the only option at that point is "continue") and then shut it off right after. Then, when you start it up again, the "new game" option should be there.

    Is your problem that heartless aren't appearing? If it is, all you have to do is go up to one of the open doors and hit it. If you use a card on it, it will take you to a new area with more heartless. Just don't use one of the cards that trigger an area without heartless. I don't think there are heartless in the "calm bounty" and "moogle room" (and a few others) areas. Hopefully that helps you, kingdom945 and I'll talk with you soon ^^

    Do you Quick Save a lot? Because the only option being to Continue is a sign of that... Although, if you don't save again after loading a Quick Save, you lose progress lol

    Calm Bounty, Moogle Room and Moment's Reprieve are the only cards that don't have Heartless in them (except the occasional Mingling Worlds)

    Try hitting a door u already unlocked. Use any card u have left that corresponse with the number and keep on fiting the heartless. U'll get something eventually.

    this is for gameboy advance people! I've gone through doors and I don't think there is a start new game. I've looked. I only see two different games and I haven't been able to start one.

    now, heartless and everything are appearing. sometimes they do sometimes they don't, because I've probably done that level before. I keep going through back and forth. I need to start a new game, but there's... no possible way... it looks like.

    and when I say 'I can't find cards to certain doors' I mean, the special doors cannot be opened because I can never get the special card for it.

    When you turn it on, there should be a menu that comes up, most likely it has an image of Sora, but it can be Riku. If it says Continue, select that, head into the game and then shut off your Gameboy without doing anything. If it doesn't say Continue at that first screen, there should be options like "New Game".

    If it just brings you to the loading screen, try pressing B.
