I just finished Kingdom Hearts 2 for the first time

wow...jsut wow. i never knew they would get back to the island wow i mean its just like you never think they will get back cant wait for KH3

i mean by then i will change my username to InuKH3Sammy

on Proud Mode with a broken controller

then another 5 times on medium or regular or whatever

then 14 times on beginner just for the hell of it

beat Sephy and got Ultima Keyblade each time (proud, medium, & beginner)



and this was before I got a PS3

I like to think of KHII's only good point is helping BBS exist.

AHAHAHAHAHA, ***** go play KH1.

 

It takes KHII Sephiroth about ten hits to do the same damage as one hit from the first game.

And the Ultima Weapon, good lord... I will never get it.

Unpopular opinion: Kingdom Hearts II was the funnest of the games I have played. I have not played Birth By Sleep.

 

I agree that Kingdom Hearts II was more the fun, but Kingdom Hearts was more challenging, therefore it was more rewarding. You actually had to dodge and use magic properly. It felt more like an RPG, while Kingdom Hearts II felt more like an action-adventure game.

 

KH2 had a much better melee combat system being able to do different moves and combos but I didn't like that the worlds were more straightforward. I liked exploring the Disney worlds in KH1.​

I hate the magic system in KH2. It makes it more like magic is a non useful way to defeat enemies. In KH1 it felt more like you could use regular attacks and magic with each other to take out enemies faster.​

 

Not to mention how linear both worlds and game as a whole were in KH2 compared to the original. KH2 will always be the same game, no matter how many times you play it. KH1 on the other hand, has some things you can do differently. It was only on my third playthrough that I found out you could do things in Traverse Town in different orders. Like you could visit Merlin before defeating the shadow boss, to which Merlin tells you to get the hell out of his sight. It's pretty fun to explore that game. Replaying KH2 27 times is just ridiculous.

 

Adding in the reaction commands was just obnoxious. They definitely should have left some skill in the game.

 

They wanted it to look more flashy. Make it appeal to people who never played the games before it.​

 

They could have at least made it a bit of a challenge to use.

 

Like a punishment for failing while using them or something like that?​
