Then you should just shut up, to be honest. Just because it has what you think is an unfavorable battle system, you completely disregard it, even though it has a compelling story? And the battle system is great. It's challenging and rewarding.

i was looking for a game with a battle systme such as KH or .hack

this didnt fit the bill. and as for the story, i bet it is unimaginably great, but i'd rather play a game that i can real time fight. so... YOU should shut up.

The battle system was wonderful, in my opinion.
I wish I could have targeted different enemies with my attack chain instead of devoting the whole chain to one enemy though

well, im more of a RT RPG person when it comes to RPG's. now im not saying this game is bad. in fact i still want it, but i will not pay for a game that is $60 - $70 that i might not like a good chunk of. (itc: the battle system)

    im just gonna ask this...

do you understand the battle system? or are you getting your idea from Trailers...because seeing it, and acutally playing it. is so much different.

    its very intense.

It's not taking turns. I don't think ATB has been a solid "turn taking" system for several games, if in any.
It's called ACTIVE time battle for a reason.

You don't take turns, you only control 1 character, the party leader. There's also 6 roles which you have to blence out called Paradigms which you use to either physiclly attack, magically attack, heal etc. Also, it is time based, it uses the ATB gauge.

I personally think it's a step in the right direction for a battle system, although I would've liked to be able to switch who I was controlling like in FFXII.

its about taking turns, its about setting up possible sets of "combat type" to be honest...its alot like KH in the sense that you only control the party leader.

so you really should play this game before bashin the system.

Don't get me wrong, I like real time like in Kingodm Hearts, but I also like the "time to think" that ATB gives you.

EDIT: Can you tell I'm tired? I'm going to bed now.

It sounds complex but in reality, the way they tutorial it in the game, gradually adding layers of complexity, it acutally makes sense. Uhh spoiler I guess ...
They start out be teaching you how to use the atb gauge, then they tell you about moves, then after 2 chapters, they tell you about roles, and then the paradigm deck. Finally after about 6 more chapters, you are allowed to change your own party.

well still... i'd rather they just make KH3, put it on the PS3 AND 360 and get on with their lives.
    yeah... they know. stfu.

    ...

    1. FF is their main franchise.

    2. It's a different team that's making KH3 than made FFXIII, it's the team that were given the task of making FF vs XIII that already make KH. ONly when FFvsXIII is out will KH3 start serious production.

and no. The compatability difference between 360 and PS3 would make it take longer.

    lol

and KH's progression has no connection to any other Title.

each KH game is made by different "teams"

although i beleive the Oksaka team is making FFvsXIII that is the only KH to FF move thus far.

    so, youre statment is false.

not what i meant. i just want KH3 to come out if they are making it, i want it on the 360 and PS3. (if they were smart they'd realize that ALOT of people switched from PS2 to 360and PS3. PS2 was the only true good thing at the time. some KH fans still have a 360. long story short... KH3 on xbox AND PS3 = more money.) and with that i would be happy.

Their main focus isn't money, it's building a franchise by getting a loyal fanbase. If they just put it on other systems, they're copping out and just exploiting the franchise for money. Not one KH game has been multi-platform, why start with this? Also, you're the one being a total ****** about everything right now. Don't think that I don't know anything about FFXIII's battle system.

How about you drop the immature attitude and say you're sorry and I'll drop this whole thing. Because honestly, the way you act is getting ridiculously childish and overbearingly rude.
