You need to find out which guy you like more. Which one is the better guy, and if what you're feeling is real. The best friend may be better for you, may not. You have some serious thinking to do and I don't know how to help without knowing them some more, and even then I wouldn't know them for real =/ But if the only reason why you're still with your boyfriend is because you're dating him and past feelings then it might be a good thing to move on. However, if you're only 'in like' with the friend and it's cause of looks then it wouldn't be worth it.

...It depends how close you and your boyfriend are. If you're worried about losing him then your bond needs some work. Someone worth fighting for is someone who think you will never lose. Not over something like this anyway.

Angel's right. The only thing for it is to decide which one you want to be with more. If it becomes a serious problem and you feel like you're going to cheat on your boyfriend, I would recommend that you tell him about your feelings--for your best friend and for him--tell him that you're confused and you need some time to sort it out, and just break it off temporarily. If he's worth it at all, he'll be understanding and wait for you to make your choice. That's only in a worst-case scenario, but bear in mind that you will have to tell him at some point if you choose your best friend over him, and a calm, civilized discussion about it will achieve the end much better than him catching you cheating. You've already made that commitment to him; if you can't keep it, tell him that before you do something you'll regret.

If you decide you want to stay with your boyfriend, however, your best friend needs to know that he's doing this to you. Because it makes you uncomfortable. He needs to adjust his attitude, at least long enough for these feelings of yours to die down. If what you really need is just a break for him (Sometimes it works, sometimes it just makes it worse), tell him so. If he's any good kind of friend, he'll understand. And make sure he's not doing this by accident, too; he may think he's talking about a different kind of love while you think he's coming on to you.

You've got to find out where you stand with both these guys.

Find out how loving and affectionate your boyfriend is still towards you. Is he still the same person who you wanted to go out with?
And your close friend, how much does he care? WOuld he care enough to go out with you, do you think?

And of course the most important question.
Do you love your boyfriend or your close friend?

I'm not saying this is what's truly happening to you but maybe you're just attracted to your best friend. Attraction and being in love are two different things in my opnion. So ask yourself if it's truly love or not.

Second, if you realize it's real love and not just simple attraction then all I could tell you is follow your heart and think things through hard and well. No matter what you choose, remember that you'll be comfortable with your decision. Think to yourself: " I'd rather be with (insert guy's name here) and be happy than rather be with (insert guy #2's name here) and be unhappy and feeling forced to be with him". I can't tell you it will be easy, it'll hurt because you might feel guilty afterwards but then again, what matters is that you're comfortable with your decision and with yourself.

I wish you the best of luck.
