What does this mean? Either S-E is going to respond to fans urging for a FFVII remake or they like to screw with us. I'm going for the latter...

Yeah, they very much ARE screwing with us either way you look at it. If it isn't really coming out, they screwed with us by putting this trailer. If they ARE making a remake, they screwed with us when they said they would'nt make a remake.

 

Lol, so true. Personally, I don't care what way tihs goes. If they're actually remaking it I'll have fun playing it unless it's a compelte fail like FFXII, or if they're screwing with us and this isn't true I'd have more guranteed fun watching all the fanboys rant and break into tears :P

It might just be a sneak peek for fans who are starting the series right here remember when RE:Chain came out they had a secret ending showing Roxas walking. If they made a FFVII remake they could also have a Secret Ending preview of Advent Children showing Tseng and Elena at the Northern Cave.

 

Besides a Final fantasy VII remake I dunno what else it could be.

This is just bull to me. I won't give a flying **** if it's really real or not. They've played us both ways. Denying if it's true and screwing when it's not. I'm tired of the milk FFVII's been getting because of the fanboys.

Anyway. SE just spiffies up an FF7 scene and the whole world jumps to the conclusion it's a sign of a remake. I FAIL to see how this conclusion was brought up.

It's nothing more than eyecandy, enjoy it for what it's worth instead of making false assumptions and hopes. I heard the secret ending of CC was meant to make the player want to replay FF7, the original again. Not incite people to wait for a remake and play it then. D:

Advent Children kinda sucked to me. But I would love to see an FF VII remake, and then hopefully they'd work on an FF VI game remake. They had said they were supposed to try to get out FF VII remake by the end of this year but it's getting rather late so if they are doing it surprise, they better hurry. The screen shot stuff is real for the game but only supposedly -if- they get it done by the end of 2007. That's the last thing I had read on it some time ago, not that I think it was anything above a rumor from someone at a convention who asked.

I think though the only thing I've been impressed with at all out of the FF VII stuff was the anime "Last Order". It actually had some depth to it and I enjoyed it more than Dirge of Cerberus (because Azul and Rosso were the dumbest two bosses who died the dumbest ways possible) and Advent Children because it just focused on Cloud mostly and many people didn't just like Cloud. If they do it right, it would be cool but at this time, I have just seen FF VII things that are mediocre to poor and it is discouraging and just lets us know we are fanbois/gurls the more we keep hoping it won't be bad and it's 'okay' but nothing has been great.

I keep wishing they'd do FF VI over again and FF IX without that chibi artwork stuff, but at the rate they have been going with the extra stuff for FF VII, I think I wish they had just done -less- FF VII stuff with more -quality- instead of -quantity-. Though I will say I like my FF VII action figures. *guilt*

 

As much as I love Final Fantasy, as much as I think Tifa has the biggest but phoniest boobs I've ever seem for a video game character, as much as I think sometimes Cloud uses big swords to compensate for something yet still look good doing it, as much I think Sephiroth is a sorry little momma's boy...

Square should just stop milking FF7.

 

Um, I don't think it's a fake if it has such good graphics... Unless that's some of the same stuff you see in AC, which I haven't seen yet. But yeah, I doubt it's a fake. However, that does not mean I'm saying they'll probably make a remake, because I'm just as clueless as the rest of you. If they do, awesome. If they don't, I'll just be satisfied if I can still have a PS2 and play the one that we were given back in 1997 until I'm 70 years old with artheritis (however you spell that). XD

Those screenshots SJ put up are actually from the Secret Ending in Crisis Core. It was just to incite the players to replay FFVII again.

I Don't beleive there's going to be a remake, if they said they wouldn't do a remake they won't and if they do remake Final Fantasy VII then I hate Square Enix, give us something new other than Final Fantasy VII Spin offs Square. Dirge of Cerberus sucked so if they want to ruin it, go ahead.
