Digital Art ` i got wise and i got old..

Haven't really messed around in photoshop for months until last night. I downloaded a bunch of brushes, got a few renders, and started playing with stuff. I still have issues with doing things, and I look at other people's sigs and wish I could do the stuff they do. :c


CnC would be greeeeaaatt.

 

My comments will focus on the text, the pink is haaaaard as hell to read, the white isn't much better. It should also be a top layer I think, I know its only a strand of her hair covering like one letter but if you're going to have words, they should be on top and in focus, as I imagine they're supposed to have good meaning to them.

Overall everything seems a little too....bright, maybe dull it a little?

 

I don't know if it's maybe just me, but the simplicity seems too much to me. Have a little action in there! Maybe blend the girl into the entire background, or make the text jump out more by [like what Crimson Azoth said] change the coloring/effects on it.

You need more contrast. Your placement is okay (though I would move the text up a little) but you need the text and the background to contrast with the render more. You need more details. I can see all of the intricate work in the background, but only if I focus on it. It should be more visible than that.

Contrast the text more and make your background details slightly more visible and you should be good to go.
