I feel pathetic......

Today I found out that my best friend, Nee-chan, was moving to Texas. :( :( :(
I met her in seventh grade when she moved from Minnisota cause of her dad's job. She's really helped me through some hard times and she's a really good friend to every one. She found out she was moving about three months ago and she didn't tell us till today, Friday almost a week before Christmas. She told C-chan some time during the summer so C-chan's like "it's okay. We'll be e-mailing, writting, and calling each other so much it'll be like she didn't leave.... only....she..did." It's just makeing me really upset and feel really pathetic. I'm crying and everything!!
I've never had a friends move so does anybody have any advice?

 

When a friend moves you are sad for about a week and then you get over it. Don't forget that you can still talk to them all the time. I'm sure you can also arrange to meet each other. And don't cry throughout these last days with her, make them the happiest ones of your relationship.

 

Try to stay in contact as much as you can. Ask her how shes doing. Ask her about Texas. That's all the adice I can really give... I've never had a friend move that far away.

 

I live in MI and I had a friend move to Louisiana and it was hard at first. I had one move back to England too. I got to go see them both and stay with them. It was an amazing opportunity to see the again, and an awesome experience. It won't turn out as bad as you think, Rouge.

 

You guys are probably right but still I'll be in Georgia and she'll be in Texas. That's like a million miles away.(Then again I've live all my life here. Must go somewhere new) It's just nobody has ever moved that far away!! ( I know her reason for moving.) Usually when somebody moves away from here you don't see them again, so you better have their e-mail, and cell number. But then again she might come back to visit who knows? (I don't.)

 

Things will fold out eventually, just don't worry about it too much! You'll honestly be fine, and I'm sure you'll arrange to see each other again.
