So I got this problem with Windows Movie Maker. When I put a picture or text onto my video, the top half or 3/4 gets covered with a black block that obscures everything but the lower corner. It's more evident in this video. When I watch the video after completion in WMM it looks fine, but once I upload it to Youtube, it gets that annoying block. Is there a feature I need to turn off, or something?
It's the first time you make a video with Windows Movie Maker? Are you using Windows Movie Maker or Windows Live Movie Maker? I use Windows Live Movie Maker and I never had this sort of problem... Definitely this isn't normal, the result that is on the WMM should be exactly how would be in YouTube. Maybe the software is with problem, I would recommend downloading from another reliable site if the problem persists.
Live Movie Maker, I think... I downloaded it very recently, and the computer software was updated just a little while ago too. Unfortunately, it's not my computer, so I don't really have any say in what software we use...
A question suddenly showed up. When you open your video on your computer (Windows Media Player, for example), you get that same result?
... I can't even find the saved video now >.< But when I went to WMM and went to the preview mode, now there's no picture at all O.O
Your things are crazy. Try to upload another video (or the same -remake it) and see if the problem's still there... I never saw this sort of problem. O_O
