Digital Art I did it?

Homygawd, I made a siggy. Mah first one. =o

Yeah, I didn't use any brushes...I just looked through a really long tutorial. T_T I still gotta do the dishes....



Yeah, it looks like crap, I know. T_T

 

I bet you used Filters > Renders > Clouds, then you did a yellow and black gradient, then added your render and text ^.^

Like I said, I didn't use any brushes...since I'm not the best at using them yet. XP

 

What program do you use?

It's nice but you'll need brushes and patterns sooner or later. Just try experimenting. And don't try clouds. It doesn't look right most of the time. But good job for a firsty. You'll improve in no time.

 

I used GIMP, DM recommended it.

Yeah, I've been searching on DA for some tutorials about brushes and such (with little progress... XP)

Cool. Well, I use GIMP. Almost all my sigs are made with GIMP including the current one on my signature. Well, just get a few abstract brushes off of DA and some fonts off of Dafont. Then you could start sigging even better.

It dosen't look like crap, it's just plain. But you'll get better.

 

Reminds me of the simple brushless sig tutorial on GIMPtalk. I use GIMP as well, I don't think it's bad.

 

Yeah, that's what I used. No other tutorials made sense. X_X
