I pride myself on knowing nothing about celebrities and doing everything in my power to distance myself from hollywood gossip and being as opinion-less on all of it as I can. Yet somehow this stuff finds its way into my social areas. Would be lovely if I could never have to hear about him or Miley Cyrus ever again.

That's a pretty cold thing to say.

It's a pretty cold thing to not be wrapped up in Hollywood drama?

Not so much that, but your wording. It was worded coldly.

Probably how you interpreted it, because it's not intentionally cold in the slightest.

I'm surprised this thing is even news. The only way I know about this is that IMDb posted something about it. Granted, yes, I was happy. I was really happy. As a person, I could care less about him, but I don't find his music enjoyable. It's standard corporate pop with no emotion put into it (look up Bo Burnham's Repeat Stuff for further reference).

It's kind of convient that he does this as soon as he has a new movie coming out this month. Kind of like how he and Ms. Gomez "broke up" at around the same time the two of them were having new songs were being released. How very convient to get their name in the press at around the time something comes it that will make them some big money.

So, the moral here is: Art is a lie, nothing is real.

I care nothing for the kid, I personally feel staying up to date on what (insert celebrity here) is doing is rather pointless and a waste of my time.

Okay, I have to say I hate this kid. You want to know why?

    1. He urinated in a mop bucket in a restroom kitchen. [ HUGE health code violation]
    2. He called one of his fans a 'beached whale'.
    3. He strolled into a restaurant and demanded it be cleared for him for an entire day, despite people having booked reservations months in advance.
    4. He sent back a rental limo that was booked to take him to a mall because he didn't like the color. And when he got to said mall, he spent five minutes there and said it was the shittiest mall ever.
    5. He made a huge scene at a movie theatre because they wouldn't let him bring in his Subway sandwich despite their policies.
    6. He purchased a Capuchin monkey in Germany and then abandoned it. [
Bieber was forced to abandon his adorable pet monkey named Mally in Germany because he forgot to file in the necessary paperwork. Poor Mally was kept at an animal shelter in Munich, and the authorities gave Bieber 14 days to file an application. Instead, he got one of his personal assistants to e-mail the shelter saying that he won’t be coming back for Mally. Mally has since moved on.]

    7. He visited a hospital for sick children long enough to film footage to look good and demanded a room be cleared so he wouldn't have to see sick people.
    8. The guestbook comment at the Anne Frank house. Essentially turning a tragedy to something about him.
    9. He showed up THREE HOURS LATE to a concert on a school night. [Only reason I mention this is that the majority of his fans are school age children.]
    10. He tried smuggling his underage friends into a club.
    11. He has faked having an asthma attack, waited until his staff called 911, and then laughed like it was a joke.
    12. He made his bodyguards carry him up the Great Wall of China.
    13. He spat on his fans from a hotel balcony. [Oh, he denies it but there's photographic evidence.]
    14. He snubbed a fan with Down's Syndrome. [
To win a meet-and-greet session with Bieber, a 16-year-old fan by the name of Jared Bedard, who has Down Syndrome, worked around the clock to raise RM21,000 for a child’s cancer charity. When Bedard finally got to meet Bieber, he realised Bieber was not as nice he thought he would be. The singer barely interacted with him at the event, saying nothing beyond “What’s up, man?” before shooing him away.]
    15. He defaced public property and solicited a prostitute in Brazil.
Fifteen reasons is enough. This kid makes me rage.

I can't comment on the other ones without proof, but this one was completely innocent. Even the museum staff had no problem with it, so if they didn't have a problem with it -- the ones that RUN the museum -- then no one else should. As @Mish stated in the Justin Bieber thread in Discussion, it was a "we could have been great friends if you were still alive" thing.

Is everyone seriously having a Justin Bieber argument? The kid has so much cash we all look like objects he can buy and use before he gets bored. I've come to accept that all celebrities have a different life styles from average people. The drama actually makes them more popular regardless if it's good or bad. The discussion you guys are having just proves that good or bad, you care enough to knowticed Bieber instead of another individual. Meh... I'm on the fence and I don't really care abut the guy. I prefer acknowledging the dramas of popular actors and waiting for upcoming superhero movies. More my thing I guess.

See, I try to be nice and not jump on the hate bandwagon, and then someone posts a page of legitimate reasons to hate the kid and I can't help but join in.
I mean, celebrity bashing for no reason is one thing, but when someone as big as him is a legitimately bad person it shouldn't go unnoticed.[DOUBLEPOST=1388050563][/DOUBLEPOST]
I highly doubt a person as selfish as him would write a comment like that in an entirely benevolent way. And even if it was, which I doubt, that does nothing to discredit the mountain of instances he has publicly displayed how terrible of a person he is. The urinating in the mop bucket alone is enough to dislike him, I mean, that kind of disrespect for hard working people who don't make millions by singing ****** pop songs and blatant disregard for health codes and whatever simply to make a scene and be the center of attention makes me sick. I don't understand how anyone can defend him knowing stuff like this.

Sorry, my head was still spinning from Matt Smith's departure.
