Hunters of the Supernatural

Since the beginning of man, there have been religions around the world. In these seperate religions, there are stories of life after death, but also about creatures that are born after certain curcumstances are met. They are called demons. If the soul of a human is tied down to this world, it is called a haunting. Those souls who haunt these places are called ghosts. Ghosts and demons are a danger to the living, because they are envious of the living and may easily posess or kill them. However, it is time the living have fought back.

Personality: Quiet and intense, Jade often intimidates those she meets. She tends to use violence to solve her problems rather than to rationally think things through; this often gets her into trouble. She believes firmly in her own strange code of justice and follows it unerringly; if an innocent gets between her and a demon, she won't shy from blasting through said innocent, but she's fiercely loyal to her friends. Most consider her to be dangerous and immoral.
Attire: Plain white tee-shirt, jeans, and knee-high laced black leather combat boots. In colder weather, Jade wears a black leather jacket with a silver scarf.
Appearence: Pale skin, dark brown hair, and jade-green eyes.
Specialty: ... not sure what you mean by that
Weapons: Six-foot polished mahogany bong (staff)/ skilled in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat... perfers to use her feet more than her hands or weapon.
Powers: That's a VERY good question... I suppose I'll need something... how about the ability to see the demons (and various other undead) that walk among the humans? Would that work with this setting, or can anybody see them?
Reason: (This will obviously change if this power isn't unique)
Cursed to always see the demons around her, Jade was sent away from the city to live with her grandfather. Said grandfather shared her curse and taught her to fight the undead around her. A few weeks after her 17th birthday, her grandfather died, leaving Jade alone to battle the undead. She fights to honor her grandfather's memory.

Is it possible you could give more information? Such as location, time period, and circumstances? This is my first RPG, sorry if I'm wasting your time or not following some rule that I should know...

Personality: Bitter and cynical. She would not hesitate to kill a friend if she thought that it would get her one step closer to the deaths of all demonkind. For that reason, she is very hesitant to make friends.
Attire: She dresses in dark black leather pants tucked into calf-high black leather boots, a white tight-fitting long-sleeved shirt, a black leather jacket, and black scuffed work gloves. She also wears a tarnished silver locket that she never opens.
Appearance: Olive skin, black hair pulled into a long braid in the back, right eye brown, left eye yellow (as a result of whatever happened with her tattoo)
Specialty: She can hack computers like nobody's business.
Weapons: She swings a long chain with a spike attached to the end. When invoked, the spike glows red and explodes in fire on impact. For close quarters, she keeps a knife tucked into her boot.
Powers: In the close presence of demons, or under extreme stress, her tatto glows red and burns to the touch. She can suck out the negative energy that gives demons their life and channel it for a short time to kill them.. however, this is very dangerous, as she tires easily from this and could be overtaken by the energy, and die.
Reason: Her very first memory was seeing her parents killed at the age of four. She was raised by her older brother, Darren, on the streets until he was 19 and she was 15. It was then that demons attacked her city. Darren died in the assault, and she fell unconscious and woke up with a black curling tattoo on her left cheek that extends down to her left arm and onto her hand. She vowed to wipe demons from the face of the earth as vengeance for her brother's death.

Weapons: Usually carries a cane with him that hides a sword. HE always has two kamas with him for when he doesn't.
Powers: His cloak can create a black fog around him, and his hat grants him superhuman agility.
Reason: He wishes to "clear his family name", and break the demonic curse that has bound his family for generations. He also wishes to get back at a society of corrupt "demon hunters" who killed his parents.

Personality: She never gets Humour.. She is solitary and it always serious. She love to sit alone and read because she never knew there were others of her kind. But when she you get to know Rose.. ( Most used name ) She can be kind.. and CAN have a sense of Humour if she is witht he right person.
Attire: Long Black leathered Trench coat. She has long knee high boots, And has long red hair.. she normally has it down.. but ont hsi special night she has it up in a french bun with chopsticks.. in between them.
Specialty:She is really fast and able to move with the shadows without being seen.
Weapons: A sythe.. and she can fold and unfold that is kept in her boot.
Powers:Able to merge witht he shadows. Change her body to merge witht he scenery. Stealthy.
Reason: As a young girl Jade aka Rose.. was thrown out of her home. She was then adopted by a young monk who trained her to fight when she was only 5. And then once she was 17 she went to find a way aroudnt he world to get a job. She was hired by the 'dealer'.. He goes by no other Alias. She only talks to him by a phone call. Rose then became a Assasin.. Discovering her new found powers while on a job she was given when she needed to the 'dealers' Job. She was stealing Nuclear matieral but got infected. Now she roams the earth cursed wanting to find a cure.

Alright, this is a message to everyone who's interested in participating in this RPG; Zexion of the Twilight seems to have abandoned this thread due to the spamming that occured earlier, so I have sent him/her a PM urging to return. If he/she doesn't respond within a week, I'll take over leadership myself. Does anyone have any problems with that?

If it's confirmed that I'll take over, I'll PM everyone when the actual RPG itself begins. Again, I'm only going to take over if Zexion of the Twilight doesn't return. If anyone has any disputes (or you just want to let me know that you don't mind), please PM me or post it here. I'd hate to see a good story idea go to waste. Thanks!
