Humans have the natural tendency to destroy themselves... I have thought about this many times and have found it to be more true than wanted. All you have to do is look at their history.
There is also a natural balance in life and humans don't follow the Balance. They destroy forests and kill for their own pleasure and amusement. Many plants animals have suffered from their insolence. Humans are slowly killing their planet and it is suffering greatly. If only they could see what they are doing. They cannot though because of their own selfishness and greed. Planets are what give you life and you have to respect what it gives you. Humans do not understand this, though, and it is very sad.
The air that humans breathe is poisonous and crude. Their planet's oceans and lands are full of trash and oil and the animals are sick and dying because of it. They hunt the animals for game and plants grow weary and sick as the trash from the humans comes into the environment. The great trees and lands are destroyed as they are cleared for the humans' selfish reasons. It is sad because they cannot change their ways. No matter how hard they can try, they will always remain the same. They will always continue to destroy their planet and eventually cause their own downfall.

    Thoughts anyone?

I disagree, actually; humans are inexplicably individualistic. Even the most generic & stereotypical have something that sets them apart. While this is often considered one of our positives, it also works against us. It allows for disagreements between people's ideas, values, and beliefs, which destroys us 90% of the time.

I can't really argue against this, but I can't say that I can wholeheartedly agree with it either; many people are very concerned with protecting our wildlife and natural resources. The problem is that we can't simply tell people to stop cutting down trees and expect it all to come to a crashing halt. What we need to do is work together to achieve these goals.
Well that's rather pessimistic of you! People can always, always change, given the chance -- in my opinion at least. It just takes time and effort, two things that people hate to give. But if we stop looking down on ourselves so much and finally learn to set aside our differences, I truly do believe that the world can pull itself out of the hole we've dug ourselves in.

Humanity has the instinct to provide for itself, this instinct was shaped due to the structure of the world in which they live in. Their nature dictated that was needed for there survival. if there nature was created today their nature would completely different because now we know how to provide what we need resourcefully except the human race won't change over night.

Humanity understands perfectly what it's doing to the planet except this means nothing to an individual. An individuals mind set is that someone else is breeding animals as he is killing them, that when he is dumbing rubbish someone else is recycling. Some get out of this mind set but most abide by this. Humanity, is nothing more a glorified portion of the animal kingdom. Once you know this you can move passed it. Don't alienate yourself by refering to humans in the 3rd person. If you weren't a human you wouldn't comprehend this and you wouldn't be able to try and make a differance by voicing your opinion.

This is true and it is improbable for any change but as i've said before, this means nothing to an individual and humans have always been beings that like odds against them, so you'll never know, someone like you could change humanity. If you look at histroy you also see moments of great triumphs as a species like in world war I when on christmas day, german, french and scottish troops put there differances aside to join together on a joyous occasion. Humans are capable of many things, they just need a push.
