Traditional Art Human Mieu (Tales of the Abyss)

So last week I started playing Tales of the Abyss again, and since I like cute things I really like Mieu, so I drew what I think he would look like if he were human. Before anyone asks, he has purple hair because when I colour pick his eye brows from an image I was using for colour ref, I got purple so game him purple hair.

This is sweet! And very good, the shading goes well and I like the style. It's creative and I like how you didn't just draw Mieu as a creature. However, the proportions in the face don't seem quite right, I don't know if it's just the tiny size of the nose in comparison to the eyes or the angle of the face in comparison to the body or it may just be that both eyes don't seem to be looking in the same direction but that is all I can really comment on as critique. Well done and keep it up!

 

This is pretty cute. I love how you made a coat in place of what would normally be the form of Mieu, and you made the hair color a nice shade as well. And like Ienzo said, you did an awesome job with the shading, but the face is off, slightly because of the nose being disproportionate to the eyes, but the eyes themselves are also a little bit off. I can't say which eye is off, because depending on how you wanted them to go, the left eye is too far outward, and the right eye is facing just slightly too far downward and not enough to the side. Other than that, it's a really great drawing. Now we just need a speech bubble saying "Mieeeu"....and luke strangling him/her (I don't know what gender Mieu is. I thought it was a he, but I could be wrong)
