Help How will we know? o_O

Ok, I gots mehself a problem.

See, normally whenever I spoke with someone new, then if I didn't know if they were a guy or a girl, then I would always check. But now that I've checked, there is absolutely no way to confirm whether they are a guy, and not for nothing, but I hate asking people if they are a guy or a girl.

So my question is, is their still a way to check, or is it now impossible due to the recent update? o_O

 

You can check a person's profile and use the tab 'About Me' by the Statistics and Visitor Messages area. If the person does not care to choose a gender though, you will just have to ask the person. It's their choice whether they feel like saying their gender or not and some people prefer not to.

 

Actually, the buttons in the Profile page for the background information on the members do not show in this "FunkY 2.0" skin. I cannot view the buttons, but they are in fact visible in the "--3.73" skin. *TN* had brought up the same point in the VB UPGRADE thread, and Rvr'd said he was going to look into it, but never really got back to us.

 

If you can't see it, make sure you have IE 8.0 instead of a former version. You need the current version of IE or get a new browser such as Fire Fox, Google Chrome or Opera.

 

I'm using AT&T Yahoo! as my primary browser. O.o' Aw crap. Looks like I've got some updating to do this weekend then. D<

If for some reason you cannot update IE, and do not want to question the person about their gender, then switching the skin to the "--3.73" version will allow you to see the ABOUT ME buttons and etc. in the profile. Now, like Reliku says, if the member did not bother to put a gender in, then the last option is to ask.

I remember Cocobeanz had hers set as male for a very long time and Christor before he was banned used to have his as female.

Nine times out of ten you can figure out if someone is a guy or dude, but really the only way to be 100% sure is to ask them XD

I still have members ask me whether I am male or female o_O​

 

I know everyone doesnt put a gender. That was why I looked at my own profile in order to test it, and that is how I found out why it ish so hard. But thnx though Pyr, sinceu r advice helped most ^_^
