how to take screen shots on vlc media player?

How? and how do i chose where they are saved, i have a ALL HQ SE episode on my pc, and i wanna take some screen shots.

 

Video -> Take Snapshot

You can define where they're saved by going to Tools -> Preferences, clicking the Video tab, and editing the Video snapshots section.

 

If you dont have the advanced controls set up then....
View -----> Advanced Controls

You get 4 extra buttons on the bottom of the screen just above the normal ones. Just click on the camera and you'll snap a screen shot of the video. Keep this in mind, those extra buttons wont be there on full screen mode (well for me they don't).

If you want to disable them (who would want to do that?) then...
View -----> Advanced Controls

 

Allright, it worked, but, my pics are being saved in the "pictures" library, and not in the folder i chose the way misty said.

 

So they're saving in the Pictures Library (Libraries > Pictures), but you don't want them there? Where do you want the pictures?

 

Haha, it did work, sorry misty, i just had to, restart VLC, okay it worked, thanks guys expect HD Screen-shots of Soul eater and Korra soon, okay, you may close this now.
