Been a while since I made one of these threads. ;o Tom Krell leads a double life. During the day, he’s a research fellow currently translating a book of post-Kantian philosophy in Cologne, Germany. But after work he’s making narcotized, below-fi R&B as How to Dress Well. In October of last year, Krell started posting batches of his clouded tunes to his blog. They’re marked by his high voice; piercing and fragile like the rest of his music. Been really, really into the album Love Remains lately. Kind of weird for me, because I usually don't touch the R&B/Hip-Hop genre, but I don't think it's really limited or should be classified as that. It's more experimental than anything, chillwave but not really. Recommended Songs: Date of Birth [listen] Ready for the World [listen] You Won't Need Me Where I'm Goin' [listen] Don't look up pics of him though, from the ones I've seen he has one of those skeezy hipster mustaches. ._.
Hmm, not too bad actually. I'll look for that album. For some reason I thought of Salem when I first heard them, lol.
Good stuff Well I'll definitely have to look into getting the album. Liked the songs you recommended. So be happy to know you just added another epic group to my iTunes list ^_^
