You definitely would not have liked 07 and 08 where members abused the rep system and post counts.

How is it that almost every single one of these I see, the original creators never seem to be able to spell everything properly. I know that your being all "troll" and whatnot, but seriously. Is it too much to ask for a grammatically correct troll? For once i'd like to see something I can read easily, rather than having to decipher such horrible spelling. lik srsly omg, the only ppl who mk splng mstks r lik 8 yr old . . . srsly.

 

It's usually done for the sake of being ironic for the sake of humor. Nowadays it's leaning towards more speaking "like dis lookin @ me" since Tumblr's boomed as part of popular teen culture and all. There'll probably be another shift in new "pidgin", but that was just the way rage comics had always been done and will probably continue to be (for tradition, etc.)
