I did. It didn't help that Anniexo sounded very boyish.

I have a bad habit of just calling people "he" on websites. And even when I see they're female, I never seem to actually keep it in my head their gender. I guess I type "he" subconsciously, but I never really think about gender for the most part.

 

I always read it in my head as "Anni-exo," not "Annie-xo." By that pronunciation, it sounded very masculine.

I did when you were Reptar, but when you were Anniexo, I thought "Ok, either that's a girl or the name is a reference to some form of media." I could not find a specific reference, so I assmued female.
