Kingdom Hearts II How many games

How many KH games do you think Nomura will come up with? Will it be similar to the Final Fantasy amount?

 

I doubt it. I think there may only be a few more but that's a complete guess. I don't think it will turn out like FF.

I disagree. I think that Square loves the reaction of the first three Kingdom Hearts games that they're trying to make Noruma continue more of the games because it appears to be their most succesful spinoff series. It may be slightly like Final Fantasy in the way that Terra, Aqua and Ven's story will have little to nothing to do with Sora's but they may make at least two games out of those guys and I doubt that Noruma will leave Sora at the way it was in the end of KHII

 

I think it will be this spinoff series with Aqua, Terra, Ven. Then maybe a KH 3 and 4. That's my guess.

 

Well with KH's popularity, we may have a BIG load more.

If we keep buying it I'm sure Nomura will make more.

Although, He did say he had the end to the game in his head ;_;

 

Nomura might be busy with other matters,like more FF games,and maybe even a few FF movies (he directed Advent Children)

But I seriously hope that there is a lot more to the KH series.It's a wonderful series,and one of the only ones I actually put effort into beating. XD

 

Maybe we'll get to have a KH movie THEN a KH game. :D

 

Oh the wonders of KH, we just gotta wait.

 

That would be cool if there did end up to be about 13 games, I would laugh but all the story would probably be sucked out of it before they get that far.

 

I doubt it would continue on quite as much as FF, but pretty good. Anybody else realize that the new game for Terra, Aqua, and Ven will be a spin-off of a spin-off? Hahahah..I just thought I'd share that.

We can't forget the ending to KHII. Remember, Sora get's a letter from King Mickey? Unless it was sent as a thank-you letter (which I doubt), Sora's adventures aren't over. Sure, a spin-off of a spin-off would be cool, but Sora should return.

I say three games for the Spin off series and then two more main title games to end it, or as someone said we could have a spin off of a spin off.

 

Well, Final Fantasy's going to have to end sometime, and I remember reading that Nomura wants it to end at around 15 or 20. Therefore, how are so many gamers' favorite characters and story/game elements going to be channeled after Final Fantasy ends?

The only option left for them is Kingdom Hearts.

And then there's Disney, which seems to thrive more on money these days more than customer satisfaction. So in an attempt to eat our money, of course they're going to try and push Square to make more.

And lastly, Kingdom Hearts's popularity is phenomenal. It's sold more than 10 million copies worldwide with only three games (not counting the Final Mixes since those are Japan only), and it took twelve Final Fantasies plus whatever spin-offs they may have to sell 70 million. In comparison, Kingdom Hearts has sold a huge amount. And while it seems Square thrives on customer satisfaction more than Disney, they're also going to want to push out sequels to keep the cash flowing.

So with all of this, I'm seeing several sequels and/or spin-offs headed our way in the near future. The companies would get what they want and the public would get what they want, so there's nothing to stop them.

A spin-off usually is about a character from whatever the original source was or just picks up something from the original source. For the Kingdom Hearts first spin-off it will follow the adventures of the three Keyblade wielders Aqua, Ven and Terra. Terra's my favorite. Several other Spin-off's Noruma's thinking of making are one's about Roxas, Mickey in the realm of Darkness and Riku.

I doubt that Final Fantasy will ever stop, like Dragon Quest it's gotten too popular to stop. Tetsuya Noruma will probably quit working on Final Fantasy after FF Versus XIII is out and ultimately leave Square-Enix when he's done/tired of working on Kingdom Hearts.

 

Im hoping it stops at three but we have to see. But I SERIOUSLY doubt its gonna be as long as Final fantasy.
