Yeh how did she know how to fight with it like she was training on the Beach with Tidas or somthing lol
When she got the Keyblade she held it like a girl version of Sora and started Killing som Heartless and nobodys lol XD

Now i remember Riku gave it to her thx for telling me that but the question is how she know how
    to fight

I think she must have been training on the Beach because she was on the Beach for a year
    so that might explain it????

    Any other Answers

Riku, at that point, was still in his Ansem form.
But meh, if Sora, Kairi, and Riku have something to do with Ven, Aqua, and Terra, then there might be a reason to why Kairi could weild the Keyblade, and why Riku had it.

I thought it was a little stereotypical to give her a pink and flowery Keyblade though. -_-

I'm guessing she was training so that when Sora and Riku came back she would be prepared to leave with them if they had to. She did say she didn't want to get left behinde agin alot

True she said a couple of time she didnt want 2 be left behind
So that gives her a reason to be training

Hey...did you even see what I posted?

And anyway. I'm not sure if she was training, because Sora's memories were being restored through that year.
If you've played Chain of Memories, you'd know that everyone he knew had their memories of him affected.

Ah well,my theory about that is that since kairi was a princess of the heart she had a REALLY strong heart right? The keyblade is a weapon that responds to the power oh the heart of its wielder, thus giving kairi such power and might.(I thought that she had transformed to a violent,15year old boy back then!Maybe the keyblade makes them go into puberty:P j/k) xD

Um...what do you mean that she knew how to wield a Keyblade? Judging from the cutscenes, all she knows how to do is swing it. She holds it in front of her like a tennis player and swipes it at Heartless.

I mean, anyone can swing a Keyblade, but it takes skill to actually use it properly. And it looked like she didn't know how to fight that well...

srry if i seem rude at beginning

are you lost or something?riku gave her the keyblade.you know how she uses it?
hint: our hearts are all connected!
(sora and kairi share same power!)
wait a sec-just noticed destiny's reply. again, keyblades apear only when you need it!!!then why riku just takes it out?nope, kairi doesnt deserve that keyblade!!!

    That's called a necrobump. >_>

Need I remind you all that it was the first time she used a Keyblade in her 15 year old life?
And to be honest, I don't think that that's the case, Soranspartani. If that were true, don't you think that Kairi would've been able to fight off Axel and actually be able to use the Keyblade correctly?

I also don't think that the Keyblade appears when you need it. If that were the case, then Kairi would've gotten the Keyblade a looong time ago. Like...when the island was first attacked in KHI.
She deserved the Keyblade. Had Riku not given it to her, she probably would've become a Heartless. She is Riku's friend, even though she seems closer to Sora.

  15. Kairi had a Keyblade because it was the most random thing that could've popped out of Nomura's mind. Riku comes out of nowhere and says, 'I got this flower induced Keyblade from a memory', and gives it to her, than all of a sudden she acts like she's a tough b*tch? Please. Even in KH2 she had to be saved by Naminé.

That had to be the biggest "WTF?" moment in the game to me. I don't see her as a wielder, because why when Sora, Riku, and Mickey, joined together their Keyblades to open the door to get to Xemnas, she wasn't there? In fact, the whole flowery Keyblade disappeared and was never seen again.

I'm sorry, but I can never see Kairi as a fighter, she isn't one, as much as she tries to be. In all games, she was always the damsel in distress, and is hard to take that picture out and then to abruptly say she has a Keyblade, and can now help? I don't care if there's a connection to Aqua, at least Aqua was told to be a fighter at first glance as we see from the Secret Ending. Larxene, we knew to be hardened and sadistic the first time we got a look at her (she fatally kicked Sora royally).

    Kairi...Kairi...is meek. I can't see it.

The question in my mind is this:

Where did Riku get that Keyblade?
    I don't think he'll be carrying around a girly sword like that. >> <<

As I said, she was in danger, so Riku tried to help her. Even though it was brief, she DID use the Keyblade and seemed to know how to use it, even it it was only slightly.
That might've been a way for Nomura to connect Kairi to Aqua.
Riku was running around with Ansem up until the end. He might've gotten it from Ansem, as Ansem may have something to do with BBS. If Mickey was there, and he was friends with Ansem, then we can't assume that Ansem didn't know what was going on. His title was Ansem the Wise.

  18. No, she just swung it around, it was like the way you play with a toy sword, you know how to hit and swing, but have no actual experience. And that might've been a way to connect Kairi to Aqua, but that was the most random way to do so, and it didn't make any sense except for the fact that Nomura pulled that off to show a bond between two girls. That was it. Keybalde never seen again, even when all the wielders grouped together to open the door to the last boss.

The thing is, Kairi asked that question in KH2 Final Mix+, which she didn't do in KH2. What Riku responded was, "I started to remember a long forgotten memory and then suddenly this Keyblade appeared in my hand". Nothing about Ansem The Wise. How the hell can Riku remember that is another thing.

Nomura can have Kairi have a Keyblade all he wants to and make her a tough Keyblade warrior in KH3 al of a sudden because she trained with Riku and Sora and whatnot, but it will never be believable to me, and will only keep me in fact to expect Nomura to bring made up crap he just thought of. Not that you can blame him, no one thought that KH was going to be such a success, but will it hurt to foreshadow it? There can be other ways to connect Kairi and Aqua then giving her a Keyblade.

Chill, it was just one possible explination. And I haven't seen the FM+ cutscenes yet, so I didn't know about what Riku said.
Nomura also said that there wasn't going to be a game called KHIII, and instead he branched off to BBS, 358/2, and Coded. Maybe there's some kind of explination there as to if the Keyblade was the connection to Aqua.

My Thoery is that Riku is SOOO awesome, he can make keyblades out of no where o_O Well, it could happen...he is like the TRUE keyblade master, since he was the one who was going to get the keyblade, but Sora got it by dumb luck...-_- I hate Sora for that. Maybe real keyblade masters CAN make keyblades, cause didn't Master Xehanort kinda create one when he splited? I mean, it does make you wonder...
