I used a cheat to get all the Gummi blocks so I can build my ship early, but Cid won't buy back the parts. I don't want to leave chests unopened. Is there ANY way around this? A code, something?

Cid only buys Wing and Armor blocks.
If you want to get rid of a block type, try getting rid of them by building a ship that requires the block type.

Can't. Even if you build a ship with 10 of the block type, it still reads 99 total.

Did you turn the code off?

I am not sure how to get rid of blocks, all I can suggest is trying to make ships out of more of the blocks than just 10 but that probably won't work.

I activated the code, got 99 of every block, and saved. I'm not sure turning it off would do anything now.

Sometimes as long as the code is enabled, the Gummi blocks will continue to refill.
If the Code is disabled, The max blocks shouldn't refill. While still being maxed, they should decrease.
    Just give it a try.

If that's true, then I wouldn't have been able to sell the blocks I COULD sell. I have 30 of each I could sell, so they're definitely not refilling.

There is no way that I am aware of. Even playing normally and not using 99 Dolmations it is a pretty common occurrence that tends to bug the crap out of me.

You could however get the code modified to give you less than max. It is pretty common for coders to make it give you 98 of something for reasons just like this.
