If KH-V was actually a work of fiction, who would be the protag?

And don't say yourself, you fucking tool. Or at least explain it if you're gonna.

 

Well, each of us is our own KHV protag...

But honestly, it'd be a multiple protag series following each teen through their utterly ordinary Slice of Life-style life.
Until they log on, at which poing shit gets real as hell.

Well I can't really see there being a single protagonist.
I could see it being a series of stories in one book.
Something similar to Sideways Stories From Wayside School I suppose. =P

 

I don't know. The few people who I could imagine actually carrying the lead role within the community aren't presently around. I mean, I wouldn't be too choosy if it came down to it because everyone hates the MC from being generic and not as cool as the other characters anyways.

 

Ok, so far we have a lot of votes for multiple protags. Makes sense to me.

And yeah another good question has been raised, what the hell genre/series would we be like? I was thinking Armored Core, 'cause allegiances are always shifting and there's a lot of emphasis on old generation vs. new generation. Mercs grouping up with people they've fought alongside, old veterans who are respected but losing their edge, newbie protags whose goal is to rise through the ranks, etc.

Executive Meddling. The higher ups decided the audience needed someone they can relate to.

 

It would have to be in phases. In the very beginning, it'd be Deathspank, setting up the early site, wading through the awkwardness that was the primordial Spam Zone. After that, it'd Roxas, since he was, like, the coolest kid in town, and he wrote the site a theme song. After that, it'd be Xaldin, then after he left, it'd be Catch the Rain, because she ran sh!t. Post-CtR it'd no doubt be Wolfie. No doubt. I'm not sure who it would be now, though.

But for srs, I vote for Misty as protag, and RvR as her loyal sidekick. Site Owner Guy (whoever it is now) is the mysterious benefactor, akin to the Moon in RotG.

Yea. If it wasn't for copyright infringement I'd name our series Heroes. It was great starting out, but it was all downhill from there.
