Digital Art HOLY F*CK ORANGE MADE SOMETHING IN GiMP?!? BLASPHEMY!!

...It's true.. I attempted to create SOMETHING in gimp. It's my first anything ever, so don't kill me. I don't even know how to use 93% of gimp's features.

I used that C4d cause it reminded me of her pigtails. Then somehow I did something so that I could change it's color 8D

I have no clue what to do on these things.

I decided not to touch it with other effect and such since I don't know how to use them yet.

xD Well I couldn't think of any text. I have a version of it where I just put "Maka" in that dark bottom left corner but it looked ghey and I couldn't find a good font either so whatever.

Not so easy is it, eh? GIMP is confusing as ****. But anyway, it's not bad. C4D needs to go, it does nothing for you, and try to find the path tool and **** around with it.

Finally someone can maybe read this lolol. No one does =[

Just install some brushes off of DA. And read some tuts. Get shitload of renders from gamerenders or planetrenders. Learn to work with brushes, and always use layers. Remember gradients are good too. Just read some tuts, you'll get the hang of it. As a GIMP artist myself, I know it gets difficult, believe me just keep on experimenting and use random colors and ****, using Hue Sat on the colors section, color balance. That's how I started with my stuff =\
