"Esmya!,guess who's here!"Maddie called up to her daughter.
Esmya was the only Cullen who slept in the house,since she was only half-vampire,it annoyed her in away,but still she couldnt complain,she got out of bed,her long bronze hair swinging,and she made her way down stairs a top vampire speed"teddy! hiya!"
Teddy had been her best friend since she had grown to his age not long after she was born,now they were inseprable

 

Alexis looked over at her sleeping 'Daughter' "I suppose I should leave her be...She was up all night with us.."

Jack nodded

 

Immy was sat on the sofa in her parents's living room with her sleeping daughter lying with her head on her lap. Every so often she'd stroke her head and smile down at her. Since her finance had passed away three years ago she'd been living with them.

Lake was running around in the kitchen making breakfast, making an absolute mess as she did every morning. Singing softly along with the radio as she dashed about, singing every note as perfectly as Cascada herself, if not better, as she followed the lyrics. "I can take the rain on the roof of this empty house, that don't bother me. I can take a few tears now and then and just let them out. I'm not afraid to cry every once in a while, even though goin on with you gone still upsets me. There are days, every now and again I pretend I'm OK but that's not what gets me..."

"You know you should really do something that involves singing Mummy." Her fairest haired daughter Skyla, or more commonly called Sky, commented as she set the kitchen table in a bid to help.

 

"she's right you know...i told you that years ago...."
Lucas rolled his eyes"you always say that dad!"

"what are you doing here?"Esmya asked
"do you want me to go?"they had this conversation every mornning

 

"And I always say: It's not worth it, I'm not that good." Lake sighed as she spilt cereal all over the kitchen counter. "Oh fuc- fudge." She snarled, only just managing to restrain herself infront of the children.

"You are Mummy, you're better then you think you are."

Alexis turned to look at Ada, who was visiting from her home in California. "When are you going home?"

"Few days, give or take..."

"You going to see the others? It has been ten years..."

"I'll pass."

 

"Well even if I was good enough, which I'm not, what job could I get anyway?" She sighed.

 

he shrugged"singer? gotta be better than my job....control of magical creatures head...."he rolled his eyes

 

"I'll bet they know you're here. You went to close to the house yesterday.." Jack said.

Ada nodded. "Like I said....I'll be going home in a few days. That would just delay my journey.."

"You leave for ten years, and then come back for a few days?" Hunny asked from the couch, stretching her arms.

 

"It's hardly a profitable career path is it?" Lake sighed as she swept up the mess she'd made and flicked her wand to send the plates over to the table, a trick she'd learnt from Lyra a few years ago.

 

"i dunno...you should give it a try...."He said

 

"Maybe when all the kids are at school, before then I don't have the time to spare to go chasing a career." She sighed as she helped Sky onto her seat.

 

"Hunny, go back to sleep, you're too tired" Alexis said.

Hunny moaned.."But I don't want to mum..." She looked at Ada..."Surely there is a reason you came?"

Ada looked at her. "I just had a bad feeling and came to check on you guys. But now that I see everything is Okay, I can leave soon."

 

"which is why im the bread winner right?"he joked,smriking

"Mya,go get dressed,we're going to grandma and grandpa's go on."Maddie said
"why are we going?"

"What do you mean, Bad feeling?" Alexis asked.

"I'm not sure. I just thought something was going on, and left for here at once. My coven won't be very happy with me"
