Chain of Memories Help with Zexion

Anyone have any tips on how I can beat Zexion on Destiny Islands? He steals my cards, and its driving me insane! Can someone help me out?

 

Try and break his cards before he steals yours. If you can't, just use what you have left to destroy his books. Once you get all of them, your cards will appear and you have to get them back. This battle was one of the hardest for me, and took me a long time to beat him. But with practice, you should eventually succeed.

 

its very important to break zexions magic card before it hits you. if you cant find any cards higher than the value, stock.
If he uses cyclone snatch, use the square button to quick run away until its over.
SAVE YOUR MICKEY CARDS because you will be spamming sleights alot in this battle, and mickey cards restore cards that you used in sleights. once you start to run out of cards, stock three mickeys and break zexions magic card with it.

dont spam sleights unless you have mickey cards though, because they will run out quick.

if you follow those intstructions you shouldnt have to deal with his clone mode but if you do, then all of his books support the clones. so stock, aim at the books, and attack. be sure to break an attack card, because just ONE attack card makes every single clone hit you a couple of times.
you cant dodge Dark Punisher, but while he's using it, carefully stock up cards to break it or go to a zero.
Catastrophe is easily dodged, just jump/aerial dodge if you need.
I would reccomend that you save your Jafar card for his clone form, because his attacks are really annoying during the clone form.

Once you kill his books, all of the cards he stole will be on the floor for you to grab, quick run over to them. he will throw in a fake soul eater, it is orange instead of purple, it will be the first card after the reload card, and its value is always zero. never use it, it just stuns you.

you can't "make sure you have alot of potions" in reverse rebirth, the deck is provided for you. Also your reload card works like a potion anyway.

 

ya i know i just noticed that my self. i had a brain fart. all i can say is to be defensive and use you cards conservatively. try summoning king mickey sometimes for healing or an inverse burst.

 

Alright thanks guys, I finally killed him! I used that defensive strategy, and held onto a lot of mickey cards to heal.

You can't turn into Dark Riku, since you're Dark Riku for the entire fight.
