358/2 Days Help with the Antlion?

I'm on day 98 and I've been trying for a few days to beat the Antlion, as it is required.
Apparantly, I need to block the boxes it throws so they come back and hit it, but that's not working.
Is there a keyblade that's better to use than Lift Gear? Is there a certain level I need to get to? How do I time blocking the boxes? DDD:

You can't block them....They will start to flash red meanin they're about to explode, just make sure to line up your camera by pressing the (R) button so that you can line the boxes up when you throw them back. Just keep running away while the boxes are going down...Once they stop, line up the camera with the heartless, then attack them to throw them back.

I used the "Wild Gear" This is a much stronger panel and is effective on this mission.

I was having a bit of trouble with the Avalanche but it was not hard once you put Fira on your panel....especially when it's linked to a multicast.....when you get to that day here are 3 good tips:

Synthesize a lot of Ether/Hi-Ether/Mega Ether
You'll need dodge roll and air dash
And Level 2 Magic will help you out.

 

It doesn't matter when you hit them. They still go into the tornado and hit the Antlion.

 

Thunder also should work wonders on damaging the boss - don't remember if you have it by that time in the game or not, but I think you should by then.

 

Try using Skill Gear+2/ Also, you don't really have to block them, per se, but when they are on the ground hit them a few times and they will fly back and hit the Antlion. That's what I did, and It worked for me on my first try.

what i did is i ran up to the thing and did as much damage as i could hit the thing then when it flew in the air i dodged rolled the boxes and then hit the back.

 

DON'T JUST BLOCK THEM, you block them to stop them moving you hit them and they fly back at him
