Help with Sig

Sorry if this is the wrong spot for this thread, but how do you upload a sig? I have the right dimensions, but my byte size exceeds the 1000 mark. Can anyone help?

 

what format is the sig? is it Jpg? png? bmp? cos some formats take up more memory then others, like for example the same picture on bmp will take up more memory then the same picture in jpg format.

I used ImageShack and then put the link in the white box before, but it didn't work.

The file type is jpeg.

If you need more info just ask.

Is it fine to just put the picture in tags in the Edit Signature part instead of the Signature Picture?

Try saving it as png, jpeg pieces are meant to be ENOURMOUS, png is for smaller things like signiatures. Try saving it as png and if should fit just fine...^^

 

what of sig is this anyways? i know jpeg uses alot of room but i always use jpeg format for mine and even the animated ones fit the limit. but like they said, .png is good for samll pieces like sigs and avys.
