    Inuyasha is DEAD literally
The first episodes were pretty interesting but its annoying that Inuyasha keeps killing Naraku and he fails at it.

SRSLY it was like, the same thing over and over again. 'walk here, get this, fight that demon' IT was like, every time I tuned in to watch it, it was the exact same thing, just with different location. It got boring fast.

True, but the ending didn't clear up anything. Plus, I'd like GetBackers and BoBoBo to continue but that just ain't happening now is it??

I dunno... Inuyasha was going pretty downhill after it hit the 100 mark. It was pitiful filler after filler with unsatisfying enemies. Of course this was because the manga couldn't keep up, and the anime series decided to take the story into their own hands.

And of course we all know what happened 167 episodes later.

The series has died. I Kongousouha'ed that thing myself in my mind.

I never really liked Inuyasha all that much. It just seemed rather cliche filled.

I watched about ten episodes that were the same.

When Inuyasha anime ended in 2004, there have been rumors that Rumiko Takahashi may have been formulating a second series. So far, the rumors are pretty much false. There will most likely be OVAs though. (OVA = in most cases, spinoffs of anime that were aired on TV; OVAs are straight to video meaning no TV airing, no theater showing, etc.)

I used to like Inuyasha, but then I found out I wasted my time watching a series that does not even have a proper ending (Although the Inuyasha manga is different).

    This thread has broken my heart. ;_;

Inuyasha is repetitive, but that doesn't mean its bad. The manga is still going on and quite frankly I still want the anime to go on. Inuyasha is MORE TO ME than just a show. Its what brought me and 40 people together.
    Tis a very sad story.
But seriously, It sounds corny, but Inuyasha actually saved me from death. And me and my FORTY INUYASHA-OBSESSING FRIENDS want it to continue so we can share times together again calling eachother on the phone everytime a new episode is one.

    Gawd, I miss those days.

All sappy-ness aside, I want it to continue for other reasons as well. The fillers were there for the same reason there were fillers in FMA: because the manga needed time to catch up. I think that now that the manga HAS caught up a little, we can hope for some more and possible some closure.

Rumiko likes to make her animes long. Its just her way of doing things.

And don't any of you watch it just for the pure fun of it? I mean, all people ever do with anime is watch it for the plot. I do that to, but only because thats the whole point to most people. Once again, it is to me as well, but have you ever tried just watching it for a couple of corny laughs? Me and Sam and jessica ('Kagome and Shippo' xD) watch it because it's something we can relate to, and we like to watch it in the company of eachother.

Man, when did this turn into rabmle fest 2007? o_O

And come on, you can't say some of the fillers didn't make ya giggle a little...

    Episode 82, anyone?
    NAKED HANYOU FTW!!!! xD

Sadly, the rumours of the fifth movie are yet to be confirmed and in my opinion its just fans and their dreams.

Dang, I think we were the only positive comments on this thread o_O

Yeah, and I trust your friend.
But the thing is, I'm known as MadiYasha at my school. Everyone knows who i am because I'm the leader of a group of IY obsessors.

I dare say I know more about Inuyasha than a lot, and the 5th movie has been confirmed to not be made.

And even if it is made, Rumiko says she'd like to continue the anime first.

Inuyasha WILL go on, people. There is a chance, according to the woman who MAKES the freaking show.

Anyways, I'm rambling again. I'll leave now.

    LONG LIVE THE C.R.I.F.s!
