Video Help please i am having trouble with vegas 9.0

ok so recently i have been making vids on youtube and i am having a problem with my Vegas studio here are some of the problems.
1. The Pan/Event/Crop button won't show Crop
2. I don't know how you like start a clip than make it slower in the middle is there a trick?
3. I can't get HD on youtube when it posts.

If any of these questions have been answered i am so sorry and if someone said not to post questions like these in this section i am so sorry i am kind of new and am trying to find out how to move around.
