Remember when I was ranting about Dani and this Mysterious Girl (whose actually a Junior foreign exchange student)? Well, I kinda need help with that (again). The replies suggested that I focus more on Dani than the Mystery Girl, which I did. After an assembly at my school, I talked to Dani about how we felt, and she didn't feel the same way. But neither of us really thought nothing about this at the time. About a week later, she was practically near tears about this dude who she liked, and I helped her, after first convincing her that it wouldn't bother me in anyway. However, about two weeks later, I felt really depressed inside, and didn't know why until recently. I like her more than I did before, but we seemed to have grown distant from each other. She always talks to other people instead of me now, and only talks to me whenever she needs something. But, when I had said that I was going to switch my Chemistry and Math classes around (other people are horrible in there, and she is in both of these classes as well), she said: "No. I am not letting you leave me" KHV, I'm confused. I don't know if I can stand this crush any more, and for some reason can't get over it. Meanwhile, I still haven't talked to the Mysterious foreign girl yet, but will be forced to tomorrow as part of an interview for my school's newspaper. Should I keep pursuing Dani, or give up on her in favor of someone I'll only be able to see for 7 more months before they're out of my life?
Well it sounds like Dani likes you more than just friends but shows it lesss...I say keep on keepin' on for Dani since you don't know this foreign exchange student. ALOT of good looking girls will use you so dont judge a stranger on looks 'kay?
you're her Ducky. The guy she comes for answers and when she wants to talk really bad. The type of guy she needs when no one else is there for her. Her ducky/best friend. OR Her friends could be trying to keep her away from you. I've done this before. My friend Alexis was friends with this really weird guy but she liked him alot but as a friend so we kept her away from him. So i'd talk to the friend of hers that wouldn't overreact to you talking to her
Possibly. I have to admit, she never did outright turn me down. She also tends to make fun of me alot, especially in Lunch and Gym All of her friends like me, and I'm even friends with half of them. So that doesn't seem to be the case.
I'll be inclined to agree w/ Blood of the Rose on this one. It seems like you're her go to guy when she needs help, the person she turns to for a shoulder to cry one when others aren't suitable. It is perhaps, that she has an affection towards you that is like that between a brother and a sister. In such a relation, the two are generally distant on the regular basis, but are, deep down, very close to one another. I've had a friend in said capacity, one who saw me more as family than as friend. It is often a hard truth for me to bear, that I can't be the one she talks to regularly, but in the end, realize that what we have is a real sibling-like relation. I believe that this is what you and this girl Dani have. A more distantly close type of bond, it is one that a person should be proud to have. Keep it at that, and let it work from there, and you should be fine.
