I have to give a speech in an hour on how to draw anime/manga-style art for my Speech class. I'm not nervous about the speech or anything -- I actually enjoy going up in front of everyone. The thing is...while preparing for the speech, I realized that I suck at drawing! What do KHV?! :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D: :/8D:
well um, If I was home in an hour, I would give you some tips that are in my drawing books, but unfortunately, it would take me more than na hour to get home.
Find a Youtube video, project it on the board (if you can), and narrate it. It would make it easier to illustrate and it'd keep you from having to draw it yourself. Hope this helps tummer~
That's a good idea; but that's the only building on the entire campus that doesn't seem to have wifi.
Maybe print off some manga art and pass that around. And turning you lack of drawing ability into a bit of a joke helps some. Just make sure that you also make it clear that you appreciate the style enough to know something about it.
o-0 Damn, well okay then... I would do what mixt said and use those crappy drawing skills to lighten the mood a bit. Your teacher would probably love that, unless he/she's a total hermit.
Well, I did bring some visual aids (manga and DVD covers) to help. I have to show my class how to draw manga; I can't just talk about it. Our assignment was to demonstrate something we're good at. I didn't know how much I sucked until I had to draw it on a huge pad of paper for others to see.
