Help help me change my profile picture

I tried to change my profile picture, i selected a random image and it started loading but it never completed. Yes, i'm talking about my Avatar/Profile picture which doesn't responds. Even if the loading gets completed, the profile picture does not shows..
Help me please

Alright, so first thing's first; unless you've not done so already, click on your username at the top right hand of the screen. A few options should come down.

Click Avatar.

Then, there's the uploading. Images should be no bigger than say... 250x250 or less? (it's been a while for me since I've last updated my avatar, but this should be a guideline on what size you should be looking at when uploading one's avatar!

It's actually 200 x 200 for all usergroups right now.

As for profile pictures, there's no feature for that in XenForo.

 

The max size for a normal member's avatar is 170 kilobytes. The issue you're referring to I do know about, it seems to be a scattered problem with certain images (I do hope to find the source, of course). By any chance, is the image you're attempting to upload animated?
