I was fighting against the Chocobo Eater & then while I was fighting, it pushed me off the cliff (I hadn't play FF in a long time so I suck for now), which party members should I use & commend them to do?
Right the way I did is probably the most complicated lol! I had all my characters and aeons at overdrive. (I used all my characters because I wanted them all to get points) I used the weakest 3 first (depends who your current weakest are) to get their go out of the way, once it was knocked down I summoned Ifrit and used his overdrive, when the damn thing gets up again use your strongest characters to do their overdrives, and then summon Valefor to finish it off! If you don't have your overdrives up then use Auron, Wakka and Tidus (Kimhari is sometimes stronger than Tidus ecause of piercing) to just smack the hell out of it, summon when things get tricky and just hope. There is no set or easy way to do it, it's based on luck :D So good luck, hope my rambling made some sense! :D :D xxx
It depends, are you just trying to get past the fight? Because there are two ways to beat him, either killing him, or the easier way; which is knocking him back off the cliff. I'm going to assume that you're just trying to get by him, so to knock him off the cliff, use Auron, Kimahri, and Tidus, and occasionally swap in Yuna to heal them. Have Auron and Kimahri use standard attacks, and have Tidus use abilities like 'Cheer'. After awhile the Chocobo Eater will fall onto his back, if you have any Overdrives available, use them then, because he's the most vulnerable at this point. He can still use magic from on his back however, and after a few round, he will spring backwards to his feet. Continue this until he's knocked off the cliff, it's a little tricky though. Good luck.
you can even get past him by getting knocked off the cliff, but you get no experience or rewards for this. the best possible outcome is to defeat him. Don't kock him off the cliff. Use the dtrategy above, but don't knock him off. if he gets close to falling off, let him push you back once or twice. You get teh most experience and the best rewards for defeating him.
