    Okay so I have hightened hearing. I can hear things other people cannot.
    For example if a person whispers I can hear what they whispered as if they had spoken it in a normal tone of voice.
    Because of this I can hear everyone's conversation in the room.
    How do I deal with that since I can hear things people don't think I can hear?

    You have two options, you can either use it or ignore it.

    Myself, I have reduced hearing (to an extent, been listening a bit too much to loud music) but I know what I would do;
    If I heard things I didn't want to hear, I'd choose to ignore it by thinking of something else, listen to music or just move away from the conversation.
    However, it might be interesting to hear other people's conversations - Not in a stalker way, but I mean, it's always interesting knowing what people talk about. I'm traveling at the moment, spending a lot of time in airports and on planes, and it's often fun listening to other people and their thoughts.

    Of course, you might think differently, but that's my tip :)

    I'm the same way. Can hear throughout the house from my room which is on other end from where everything normally is. (Granted our house is not that big.) It can suck hearing everything at times, but, in my opinion, it isn't really a problem. When there is a conversation you do not wish to hear zoning out by reading a book, listening to music, or simply day dream always works. Otherwise it can be really useful. Like using picked up things for blackmail (which...is bad, so shouldn't do that. Just a random example.) or picking up topics to use in your own conversation.
