I've never seen him smile not once in any scene with him. But I guess that's what you get for being badass. I was thinking of putting the scar on his face but I couldn't bare the thought of ruining that face. x3 CnC and stuff.
I've seen a few of your drawings on here and while I never thought they were anything amazing, they were still nice to me. But I really love this one. To be quite honest I wouldn't have known it was Squall if you hadn't said so but I still really like this one. I must say, the facial expression is spectacular. I'd like to see you try to shade some of these. :3
Oooh, I like it <: Im a bit disappointed about the lack of scar ;A; he doesnt look as badass without it. Mind his head, the hair makes it look slightly mishapen (or maybe its just me). Nice work on the collar bones. I think you should look into drawing hands as you seem to miss them out purposely in a lot of your work ;P
Such a good idea to draw a picture of Leon smiling. You always do such a good job with creases in clothing to fit the position of the body. Great detail on the necklace and the chain around his neck, it looks (to me at least) like it's positioned in the way it would be if someone is leaning that direction. I'd like to see you add the scar in if you every decide to draw one of him again, it'll definitely make it easier to recognize as Leon. Really great, Rissy. :3
I see where you see the misshape of his head, I didn't notice until you said something. D: I actually had fun drawing his face, I couldn't help but smile when I drew his smile, which was kinda weird; but I always thought of something like Yuffie saying something around the lines of "OMG He's smiling!" <: I was thinking of shading, but I didn't know where to start. It's hard to see where the lighting is going through with me. :/
Oooh! ^^ Nice! I quite imagined him to smile like that too! XD *purrs* Very nice job. Try shading and adding some color into it now! ^^ Good luck!
When I draw (crappily I might add) I always imitate the expression I'm doing. It's sad but unintentional. :> I think the light would do okay coming from the upper left... but then again that's like where I almost always put it. I'd offer to digicolor this but I'm far too lazy right now.
I can't digicolor, because I don't have Photoshop like those other fancy artists out there. I do it the ol' fashion way, with coloring pencils. But it's a ***** to color. That's why I rarely do it. But shading I've only tried once or twice, myself loving the work outside the computer. I'm always unhappy with it on the scanned preview, so I really don't try to do it.
Squall ;D It's a freaking good tribute to the first RPG I ever played I must say. Maybe add the scar in Photoshop? Or even add shading and color as well? Hell, I might be willing to help if you want.
It would be wonderful for someone to color it, but I certainly can't do it. My computer is already orgasming from everything on it. I would really like to shade it as well; but of course, I don't have the tools. If anyone wants to do that, please PM me the results, or post a link in here.
This is officialy Squall. ::L: The scar would look totall baddass. The only thing that buggs me is the lack of hair. The eyes are lovely and that's what I saw first. But that hair.. it's dull... DDDx
Hmm.. More detail into the scar? I was thinking something about the hair colour but I like it that way, so no touchie... I'ma have to go back to the hair... So it's just the scar I guess. ::L:
:=D: I love you, Hayabusa. That is simply great. Maybe add more depth with the hair and clothing and such, but that's not nessessary. I'm just glad that you colored it. :=D::=D:
I'm not the one who drew it though :B|: But you're welcome anyway. Besides, it was just begging for color.
@Rissy - I like it quite a bit. The nose seems a tiny bit off to me, but besides that it seems to fit well overall, excluding his scar. This would be quite wonderful when shaded. @Hayabusa - The scar is of course more correctly fit in your second recolouring. You also have done a very good job, especially with a few details. What I would enjoy seeing from both copies is some more shading for added depth, in my opinion.
