Hayley said she got hacked and basically a picture of her topless is flying around the internet like a wildfire. It was posted on her twitter late last night and now everyone is up in arms about it. Not posting that **** here, so if you want a full story, google it.

Basically, I want to transition to a different side of this story.

Who the hell cares and why does the media blow stuff up like this? Is it really so necessary to embarrass the celebrity even more than they should be? Why should the media cover stuff like this at all? It's a person's personal life, so why is that we need to gravitate our attention from our personal life to focus some our time into stuff like this? It just happens everyday and tends to irk me.

    Comments?

I don't think she was hacked. I think she simply made a mistake.

So what, a picture of her tits is now on the internet. She's not underage and there's not much wrong with it. She doesn't even target a child audience like Miley Cyrus.

I'm pretty sure there's a picture of my ass somewhere on the internet.

But yeah, what Rho said. To be honest, I don't think a pair of tits is something so radical these days. I can see why she's making a big deal out of it, but I think she's overreacting.

And that's how the media is. I mean, there was a death of (pretyt much) an icon, but the media (depending on what your source of news is, anyways) is focusing on topless Paramore girl instead.

EDIT: I found the picture but it was censored =[

Sounds like Vanessa Hudgens (sp?) all over again, sadly. :| Like you all said, it's unfortunate that the media just makes things like this that much worse. I feel bad for her.

And I wouldn't really say she's overreacting, iirc they're a Christian band? Plus, y'know, they're fairly popular now and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of young girls look up to her and all of that. I know I wouldn't love it if topless pics of me were floating around. :/

Except Vanessa Hudgens was apart of the Disney Channel and had a ton of little kids as fans. Hayley Williams is not targeted to children.

Paramore is hardly a Christian band.

I'd say that she most certainly has younger kids that idolize her. Not to the extent of Hudgens, but there still are. I used to, haha.

And they're not really a Christian band, no, but most if not all of the members are Christians. Magazine scan to prove it.

I personally don't give a ****. The situation is WAY overhyped. She chose to take a picture of herself naked, she put it on the internet, she paid the consequences. I somehow don't think she was hacked. I think she put them up, then realized it was a mistake. This **** happens. I've made the same mistake before(Just not with the internet thank GOD), and it's embarrassing as hell, but you just gotta learn to get over it. It's a tough lesson learned.

But it's not really a current event anymore, is it? Please don't necrobump in these kinds of "news threads".
