Re-Genesis

Disclaimer:
First, let me say to all of you who are reading thisâ€” about the charactersâ€” if they seem familiar in any way, let me, the author; tell youâ€¦They are fictitious. They are just made up people that sounded neat to make. Now, onto the topicâ€”

After all terrorism has broken loose and hell has come to earth, so to speak, no one can show true emotion. It almost seems as though, people have forgotten all emotions and feelings. Love, Hate, Anger, just a few of many different things. They say the strongest emotions are hate and love, yet the strongest one is love, and that in many languages, there are different words for different kinds of love, yet English only has one. We all have to be wise as to which is the right one to use. Especially when youâ€™re talking to a girl that likes you, but not in the same way you love her. This story finely describes a few: Passion between two people, friendships, family love and the love for God.

The year is lost; no one counts it anymore. Itâ€™s pointless to even try. The world is taken over by a dark force. This force can not yet be revealed, but thatâ€™s for a different story. Or maybe itâ€™s just going to be revealed sooner rather than later.
The future looked dark so far. At least, at this point it is, no one is certain about what has happened, too much happened for anyone to say. But buildings are being destroyed and the world has found a new low. But that doesnâ€™t stop anyone from fighting, because they have to fight to survive and to find peace.

Now, earth has been under attack for the past three years. A new organisation has gathered, and the founder of it, Rachelle Veronique, has passed on. She was the creator of many different creations. She and her husband had created different prototypes, but only four of them worked: RaVeN, HaVeN, HISH, and a different model, that never got the chance to be tested.
The names stand for Rachelle Veronique Number (RaVeN), Hacking Venture Number (HaVeN), and Higher Intelligence Spirit Host (HISH) and the last one never got a name, except for an abbreviation: SP.

This is the story of two people who find out, thereâ€™s more to them then people can see. Let the story of a man who finds himself in a weird place continue and begin, at the same time.
In the main city, in which this story starts, war has broken out. Itâ€™s every man for himself, so to speak. There are no tall buildings; itâ€™s all debris and ruins of what used to be city and road. Cars and trucks alike are flipped and half-destroyed. They are of no use to anyone, and considered junk, and no one wants this junk theyâ€™ve made, except for shelter and cover.
The man was walking down the road, shotgun over his right shoulder, being held by the manâ€™s right arm. The man holding it looked no more than 16 years of age. He had black hair, ruffled all over, and messy beyond belief, blue eyes that, at certain points, changed to green. He wore a black cloak, black gloves, black cargoes, white skates, and a black shirt with a silver cross necklace around his neck.
â€œTheyâ€™re goneâ€¦For nowâ€¦â€ The man said to a woman, about his age and size.
Her hair was in a black ponytail, with blonde highlights going to about the middle of her back. She wore pretty much the same thing as him, minus the white shoes. She wore black skater shoes.
â€œYesâ€¦â€ He stared at her for a second before shaking his head. â€œBut why did they attack in the first place?â€ He asked, looking up at the destroyed buildings around him
â€œâ€¦â€ She could not answer his question. â€œI do not have the authority to tell you, trainee.â€
She said as she smiled at him. â€œNow, you, letâ€™s get you back to headquarters to tell of these attacks.â€
He walked beside her, and was looking around to see if they were being followed. â€œWhat if they come back?â€ He asked as he went closer to her.
â€œThen we fight, stupid.â€ She replied with a smirk as she turned to him.
â€œHmmâ€¦â€ He looked up at the sky, putting his hands in his pockets and thought.

After a few minutes of walking, they reached headquarters. They looked around and saw that there were few members outside the base. The two ran over to ask what was going on.
â€œWeâ€™re under attack! Itâ€™s been goinâ€™ on for a few hours! They just kept on cominâ€™!â€ One of the members yelled to them as a monster attacked him.
â€œShoot! What do we do?â€ The man asked his trainer.
â€œWe fight, stupid.â€ She said, turning back to him and smirking. She put her jet-black hair in a ponytail and grabbed her shotgun. â€œThis is soooo gonna get messy!â€ She said as she stood up from where she was and shot at the monsters, exploding them all and making the scene messy with monsters flying everywhere.
â€œCome now! Help me!â€ She yelled back to her temporary-partner. â€œGrab your gun and fight!â€
He stared blankly at her. â€œHow?â€ He asked, stupidly enough. â€œShould I grab myâ€”â€œ He stopped when he saw a monster jump towards her. â€œWhaâ€”!â€ He quickly shot it and jumped in front of her. â€œStay away from herâ€¦â€ He said under his breath before his eyes changed to green. He knew itâ€¦he could feel itâ€¦he could feel him arise within himâ€¦
His partner stared at her protector. She could feel his burning desire for these things to die. She could see the fire of his heart, burning away at his insides. He grabbed his shotgun and transformed it. It turned a silver-blackish colour, and had a blade attached to the end of it. Before long, the monsters were coming closer. He narrowed his eyes and grabbed her shotgun as well. â€œI saidâ€¦Stayâ€¦awayâ€¦from HER!â€ He ran into the crowd of these things and started shooting like he was about to die. Though, the way he was going about, he was in no danger at all.
After he got through them all, he was covered and drenched in blood of his attackers. He walked back slowly, and knelt in front of his partner. â€œYouâ€¦okay?â€ He asked, out of breath.
â€œY-yesâ€¦â€ She said nervously as she lay him down. â€œYou have proven to be a great memberâ€¦You surpass the F-Grade and D-Grades. You are at my level.â€ She said as he tended to her wounds.
â€œGrandâ€¦nowâ€¦please, help me.â€ He said, sarcastically, as his eyes closed. His partner helped him for a few minutes, and then noticed he was sleeping.
â€œHey, wake up!â€ She realised she didnâ€™t ever catch his name. She looked at him and smiled. â€œâ€¦Wake up. Whatâ€™s your name?â€
He woke up and stared at her. â€œWhat is it?â€ He asked, one eye open and one eye closed.
â€œI-I never got your name.â€ She said with a sheepish smile.
â€œHm. My name?â€ He looked up at the roof and smiled. â€œMy name is â€“â€ He got interrupted by a crash. They both looked over and saw a man standing there. It was their captain.
â€œRachelle Veronique, Number 12044, leader of the sky squadâ€¦RaVeN, in other wordsâ€¦You have failed to save your teamâ€¦for that, I must kill you.â€ He said with a slight smirk. â€œQuick and painlessâ€¦Or not.â€ He drew a katana that was almost as tall as he was. He flew up in front of the two and had already stabbed them before they could move or defend themselves. RaVeN, as she was at that point, couldnâ€™t move an inch. Her partner stared at their attacker and realised they couldnâ€™t win, unless he did something drastic again. He grabbed the blade of the captainâ€™s katana, and inched his way closer to him. The attacker stared at him and trembled in fear of this man.
â€œYouâ€¦shallâ€¦notâ€¦WIN!â€ He yelled as he let go of the blade with his now blood-covered hands. â€œNot nowâ€¦not ever!â€ He looked at him and smiled, his eyes changing colours again. â€œFireâ€¦arise!â€ the fire, once again, arose within him and he grabbed the blade once more and destroyed it within his grasp. The sword had shattered, making him and his partner, RaVeN, falling to the ground below. With a small thud, they landed on their butts. â€œNowâ€¦you shallâ€¦pay forâ€”â€ The captainâ€™s firm grasp interrupted his monologue. RaVeN looked over in horror, as the words kept on echoing on in her head. â€œRachelle Veronique Numberâ€¦Rachelle Veronique Numberâ€¦â€ On and on, until she snapped, pupils dilated.
â€œNO!â€ She yelled at her captain. â€œI am NOT a Rachelle Veronique Number! I am no robot! I am a human!â€ She stared at him. He stared back at her and smiled smugly.
â€œFine, die a human death. See if I care atâ€”â€ The captain got interrupted this time, but by RaVeN. â€œYou ungrateful little brat!â€
â€œYou never did anything for me! You didnâ€™t create me!â€ She yelled at him. She then grabbed him and threw him into the wall and then RaVeN fell to her knees. She couldnâ€™t breathe right. He had planted something in her, a bug. This bug gets into your heart and messes with your valves, making an irregular blood flow. She couldnâ€™t breathe correctly, see straight, or pump blood correctly. She was going insane from these thoughts. The captain pulled out his gun and smirked.
â€œI am going to do something for you right nowâ€¦Put you out of your misery.â€ He said as he pulled the metallic silver trigger that would launch the bullet flying towards her. She saw it and gasped, looking down and closing her eyes. She heard the bullet hit human flesh and entered the body, but the grunt sounded different then the one she shouldâ€™ve heard. She looked up and saw him standing there, clutching his arm.
â€œNever try that againâ€¦â€ He said, still holding his wound. â€œYou donâ€™t know who youâ€™re messing with.â€ He said as he took the bullet for this woman. â€œI donâ€™t care if I canâ€™t feel anythingâ€¦the old people could! Iâ€™m not like you allâ€¦Iâ€™m humanâ€¦â€ He whispered to him with a slight narrow in his eyes. The captain looked at his wound in his arm. The wound was around the middle of his arm; luckily, he crossed his arms, so the bullet didnâ€™t get into his chest.
â€œWhâ€”what?â€ RaVeN was staring at his arm. â€œWhy did you do that? He shouldâ€™ve just shotâ€”â€ Her human shield interrupted her.
â€œI can feel again,â€ He said to her as he turned and stared. A tear was rolling down his cheek. â€œI can feel the emotion I so desired a long time agoâ€¦â€ He whispered to her as he saw the captain move. â€œLove.â€ Was all he simply said to her.
She looked at him and smiled. â€œAnd you know this how?â€ She asked him, wondering if she felt this emotion as well.
â€œNot the time.â€ He said back to her as he ran back to the captain to strike him. He lands a blow straight to his left cheek with his right fist. The captain pulled out his pistol and shot. The man grabbed his partner and threw her out of the way of the captainâ€™s shot, in turn, getting shot. He grunted as he grabbed his shoulder. â€œURG!â€ He grabbed RaVeN and started to run with her in his arms.
â€œSo soon, Mr. Roboto?â€ The captain said with a smirk. â€œWhy not prove youâ€™re superhuman, and fight me?â€
The man just stood there, the winds of the war, blowing quietly behind them.
â€œWhy donâ€™t you just shut up?â€ He said softly as he pushed RaVeN towards the door. â€œRunâ€¦â€ He whispered quietly as she looked back at him.
â€œI canâ€™t!â€ She said as she turned back to him. â€œI canâ€™t leave you here! Youâ€™llâ€”â€ The captain interrupted her.
â€œJust fight me, kidâ€¦â€ He said as he pulled his pistol out from his pocket again. â€œYou may as well lose with honour now, then run and lose with disgrace.â€ He was still smiling.
â€œIâ€™m not leaving!â€ She yelled at him, as she was going a bit red from anger. â€œI donâ€™t care what youâ€”â€
â€œGET LOST!â€ He screamed at his partner. â€œNow! RUN!â€
RaVeN was staring at him, wide-eyed.
â€œNo! I canâ€™t do that! I just caâ€”â€ She was interrupted by a sudden flashback.
She could remember back to when she was with her old partner, back in training.

Everything went white, then black. She finally awoke on the ground, eyes closed, the sounds of a war going on all around her. Non-stop screams and yells all around her.
â€œRay, we have to get out of here!â€ A voice said as she opened her eyes.
â€œHm? Twenty-two seventy-five four?â€ RaVeN said formally as she saluted him.
â€œYou know my nameâ€¦call me by Maronâ€¦â€ He said with a smile at her. â€œNowâ€¦run!â€ He grabbed her hand and ran. â€œJeez, whatâ€™s up with this? They just come out of nowhere!â€ He yelled as he looked back to see them coming out of the ground and buildings.
â€œM-Maron?â€ He looked at this boy. He had blonde hair, sort of shoulder length and blue streaks on the right side. He wore a grey jacket and a polo shirt that had red, green and navy blue on it. He wore green shoes that had silver stripes going down the back. He had stared at her with his light blue eyes.
â€œWhat is it?â€ He asked as he kept running, almost dragging her along the ground. â€œDonâ€™t let your guard down! Theyâ€™ll get you!â€
She looked at him, feeling like she was seeing this almost as if she was there.
â€œMaron, whatâ€™s going on? How are youâ€”â€ She looked up at the sky and realised that she was in the past. â€œMaron!â€ She yelled.
â€œWhat is it?â€ He asked as they soon got under a building. â€œAre you OK?â€
â€œYeah, butâ€¦â€ She couldnâ€™t think of a cover, â€œI donâ€™t remember how I got here. Whatâ€™s happening?â€ She had to think of something to tell him. She looked over at him and smiled. â€œI guess that slam made me lose my memory.â€
The boy just stared at her. â€œYou like to confuse, do you not?â€ He laughed to himself, â€œYou should loosen up, sis. Nothing bad can seriously happenâ€¦Godâ€™s got us in hisâ€”â€ Just then, a big black thing landed in front of them. â€œNot now! Talk later, â€”â€
She looked at him weirdly. â€œWhy canâ€™t you say my name, â€”?â€ She looked at him confused, why couldnâ€™t she say his nameâ€¦why couldnâ€™t he say her name?
â€œSomething wrong?â€ He grabbed her hand and started to run.
â€œYes,â€ She said as she started to run beside him, â€œI canâ€™t say your name, or mine! Whatâ€™s wrong?â€
He remained silent. He stopped in his tracks and looked down. His foot started to go fuzzy. â€œThisâ€¦this isâ€¦a false memoryâ€¦Iâ€™m not your partnerâ€¦Iâ€™m just made to look like him. You canâ€™t get hurt, because this is a simulation. You have to get out. Theyâ€™ll hurt himâ€¦Haâ€”â€
Everything, from this point, started going fuzzy and the world was muted. She couldnâ€™t even read what he was trying to say. He finished his sentences, and looked at her and mouthed to her: â€œIâ€™m sorryâ€¦SPâ€ and that was all she could recognise. Everything had faded away. She was standing in total darkness. She looked around, and took a step, and a beam of white came from where she stood. It went straight up. She opened her eyes and looked straight up. There was a blue sky above her, yet, when she looked down, all there was, was darkness. She looked around for a minute, then thought to herself, â€œWhereâ€¦where am I?â€ she looked around some more before seeing something move. She looked at it carefully, pulled out a gun, and was ready for anything. The black thing grew. She watched it grow, and as it grew, the ground went to itâ€™s normal colours.
It watched her for a minute, a very quiet minute, so quiet, your thoughts echo. The thing grew eyes and arms. Eventually, it looked like the spitting image of the captain.
â€œHm?â€ She aimed at it. It flew towards her, she flinched, and woke up on a hospital bed. She awoke on this bed, but it wasnâ€™t quite like a hospital, it was a very dim room, a green colour, and she saw a man in the corner, working on something. â€œExcuse me,â€ she asked politely, â€œwho are you? Where am I?â€ she asked, looking directly at him. The man turned around to her, â€œMe?â€ he asked, â€œI am Dr. Robortus. You are in my ward.â€ He said as he walked over to a table and got some drugs. â€œHere take some of these,â€ He said as he put them in her hand.
â€œâ€¦And?â€ She asked as she looked up at him, squinting with a confused look.
â€œThey didnâ€™tâ€¦dissolve?â€ He asked her in a slightly confused tone.
â€œAre they supposed to dissolve?â€ She asked him as if he was the biggest idiot she had ever encountered. â€œOr is it just weird that they arenâ€™t dissolving for me?â€ she smiled and looked at him, knowing the answer to her question.
â€œIt means youâ€¦arenâ€™t a normal series. I think you may be the SP.â€ He said as he looked at her neck closely.
She flinched and whimpered, â€œWhat are you doing?â€ She felt her neck. She remembered the bug that was out in her. â€œCan you retract a bug from me?â€
â€œSure.â€ He said as he tapped her back, only to get a fleshy sound come from it. He looked closely and found two symbols on her neck. He smiled to himself â€œThis is her.â€ He quickly put on a serious face and looked back at her. The 5â€™4â€ man said to her, â€œI canâ€™t operate on you.â€
She stared at him, wide-eyed, â€œWhy not?â€ She yelled at him.
â€œIâ€™m not authorised to.â€ He just stared at her eyes and watched them change from a blue to a green. He smiled again. â€œYouâ€™re not the same build as everyone else. I donâ€™t know your anatomy well enough.â€ He looked down at the floor and wondered when to tell her.
â€œâ€¦You meanâ€¦Iâ€™mâ€¦incurable?â€ She asked, as she tried to look at his face. She had to think of something, and quick.
â€œYouâ€™re not incurable. I just canâ€™t do much for you, other than give you this.â€ He handed her another pill. â€œEat it.â€
She looked at the pill, â€œEAT it? What do you mean?â€ She was utterly confused by his confusing order. She had never really eaten anything.
â€œLike this,â€ He started as he went for his sandwich; he took a bite, â€œsee how I chew?â€
She watched him closely, and imitated all his moves. She got the hang of it, and ate the pill. She could feel her strength coming back. â€œWhoa, I get it now. Thanks! Now, to go findâ€”â€
â€œWait!â€ said the doctor, â€œI need to tell you a story.â€ He said as he looked at the ceiling, putting his hands in his lab coat pocket. He sighed and breathed it out louder than it went in. â€œItâ€™s about you, the other person and something called â€˜SPâ€™.â€
She just looked at him, â€œYou know what SP means?â€ it hit her that he mentioned it earlier. She felt her neck and sighed. â€œDoes this explain whatâ€™s happening to me?â€ She asked him as she showed a concerned look on her face.
The man looked at her and nodded. â€œYes, I do.â€ He sat on his chair and looked at her as he clasped his hands, putting each finger in between the other.
â€œSomeone I talked to called me that!â€ She looked at him, flabbergasted, and wondered what it meant. Her jaw remained open, as she started twitching her eye a bit. She thought it was a good thing she was sitting down already, as she felt like just falling on the ground and rolling into a ball. She just stared at him. â€œAre you sure you know?â€
â€œYes, I am. I can help you with all your questions you may have.â€ He said with a smile to her. â€œNow, first off, what DO you know about it.â€ He asked as he leaned in.
She smiled and looked at him and replied with â€œNothing except itâ€™s got no name.â€ She said as she wondered something, â€œIf it got no name, why is it called an SP?â€
He looked at her with a smile, still. He was frustrated at that. â€œIâ€¦donâ€™t know.â€ He thought for a second before shaking his head and replying, â€œNo, thatâ€™s off topic. The point is; you are unique. Have you ever thought you were unique?â€
â€œYes, many a time before.â€ She replied with a bit of pep in her voice.
â€œEver felt alone in that time?â€
â€œYeahâ€¦â€ She asked with a bit of excitement now, because she was hearing what was sounding like her.
â€œThen you need to hear what I have to say; youâ€™re an SP model. This means youâ€™re different, youâ€™re special, and youâ€™re needed. You are a legend!â€ He started as he came closer, â€œAs an SP, you must name yourself, so that no one can find your true identity. What shall you call yourself?â€ He asked with a pencil and paper.
She thought for a second before smiling and knowing what to say. â€œI am May Takazi.â€ She said as she wrote it down.
â€œHow would you pronounce that?â€ He asked her inquisitively.
â€œItâ€™s said as â€˜My Tah-Kah-Zeeâ€™ if you need reference for the list.â€ She said with a curved smile.
â€œWhyâ€™d you choose that name?â€ He said as he finished the name. â€œHear it in a TV show?â€
â€œNoâ€¦â€ She sighed, â€œmy foster parent was named that, she saved me from a fire.â€ She said with a tear roll down her cheek.
â€œHave you heard of Havocâ€™s Heart?â€ He asked, trying to change the subject.
â€œN-no, I havenâ€™t. Sounds contagious?â€ She said, slightly embarrassed at the fact she thought it was a sickness.
He just laughed at her, â€œNo, itâ€™s not a sickness, itâ€™s a strength, actually.â€ He started telling her, calming himself down. â€œIt resides in your heart and acts as a fire inside.â€ He was about to continue, when he saw Maya look up at him, and open her mouth.
â€œAâ€¦A fire?â€ she looked down and thought for a second. â€œHeâ€¦he was saying something about a fire...â€ she thought to herself, going back to her partnerâ€™s words;
â€œFireâ€¦arise!â€
The words echoed on in her head, â€œFireâ€¦fireâ€¦fireâ€¦fireâ€¦fireâ€¦â€ the words wouldnâ€™t disappear. She snapped out of it, with the help of Robortusâ€™ snapping his fingers at her.
â€œYou alright?â€ he asked with concern lingering on in his head.
â€œY-yeah.â€ She said simply as she looked at him. â€œAbout this fireâ€¦isnâ€™t it bad?â€ She asked out of curiosity and concern.
â€œNo, not at all. Itâ€™s triggered by deep, deep emotion. In some cases, your eyes change to a different colour...â€ he saw her eyes snap open at this point. â€œyou know of this happening to someone?â€ he said with a smile.
â€œYesâ€¦me, and my partner.â€ She thought about what he said to the captain a while ago, â€œHe looked at the captain and yelled â€˜Fireâ€¦arise!â€™ and then he went all awesome and did really well in a fight instantly!â€ She was getting really enthusiastic about it, and she was excited that she, of all people, was special.
â€œTheâ€¦captain, you say?â€ Robortus asked her, curious about what she meant.
â€œYes. He went insane and tried to kill us. I thought he did at one point, but he saved me. After that, I had what I thought was a flashback. It turned out to be a created memory, then I was in a black place andâ€”â€
â€œWhy?â€ He asked her, interrupting her.
â€œWhy did he try to kill us?â€ she asked with a bit of a frown. â€œHe said we failed to save our team. He said he would kill us â€˜quick and painlessâ€¦or not,â€™ to quote him.â€
The doctor looked over at one of the computers, which showed an error code on the screen, saying one of the series had gone berserk. He stared at it and wondered if it could relate to the captain. â€œWhereabouts is he?â€ he asked, concerned for their safety.
â€œIâ€¦I donâ€™t know. I passed out and landed somewhere else. I donâ€™t know how.â€ She said whilst thinking about her partner. Something hit her. â€œI never did get his name!â€ She buried her face in her hands and sobbed loudly.
He looked at her and sighed. â€œI could tell you his serial if you want. But that wonâ€™t help in the least, seeing as all the codes mean nothing now.â€ He said to her, handing her a piece of paper.
â€œNaw, thatâ€™s okay,â€ she said as she put her hand on her forehead as she slouched over, frustrated, yet she didnâ€™t want to give up. â€œTell me about SP, please.â€
The doctor smiled at the fact that she was yearning to know more about the SP series. â€œWell, the SP series was made back when the founder first founded the B4W organisation, B4W means â€˜Bots for Workingâ€™. She made a special series that if something ever went wrong, they were activated in their spots, and they would come to save the organisation, or the world, or whatever is wrong.
â€œNow, when I saw her making it, back when I was an apprentice, I never thought Iâ€™d see the day they would come to use. Now that I see you awake, and walking around, I know weâ€™re in trouble. As for your friend, he should be fighting right about now and he should be okay.â€ He said with a smile. â€œTo continue on about SP, I found some files that say youâ€™re actually turning human, which means, youâ€™re defying the laws of life and organic humanity. You defy the Laws of Robotics, too. You need to realise that if the captain finds you, youâ€™re going to have to fight.â€
â€œYeah, I know,â€ she replied with a grim sounding voice, â€œbut thatâ€™s okay, Iâ€™ll fight for the world, for Rachelle.â€ She sat silent for a few seconds before he looked at her and said,
â€œFor Maya?â€ and watched her emotions come back. â€œHave you noticed anything unusual?â€
â€œHm? Like?â€ She asked him with a creeped out look on her face, â€œWhat do you mean?â€
â€œYour emotions are coming back. Tell me, do you love your partner?â€ He asked her with a smug look on his face.
She blushed a bit and smiled warmly, â€œIâ€¦I do.â€ She smiled sheepishly and went bright red.
â€œHow do you know?â€ He asked her quite seriously.
She just stared at him, â€œI donâ€™t know,â€ she answered him in a manner of saying â€˜I just know, thatâ€™s howâ€™ but instead she answered, â€œI guess my heart just says yes.â€
â€œHow long have you known him?â€ He tilted his head and asked her, again, quite seriously.
â€œAâ€¦a month. Why?â€ She was starting to question why he wanted to know.
â€œJust curious, is all.â€ He smiled, as he sat back in his chair and watched her emotions change from â€˜happy and lovingâ€™ to â€˜confused and concernedâ€™, â€œand are you sure itâ€™s love and not just infatuation?â€

The doctor just smiled and said, â€œAs long as youâ€™re sure.â€ He handed her another piece of paper. She looked at both of them; â€œHavocâ€™s Heartâ€ was one of them, and â€œKatarasayâ€ was the other. She looked confused.
â€œWhat are these?â€ She asked, confused as heck, â€œHavocâ€™s Heart, I get, but Kahâ€¦tahâ€¦rahâ€¦say?â€
The doctor smiled, â€œYouâ€™ll see as you mature, my friend.â€ He walked over to the computer, â€œThe Katarasay, heh, itâ€™s a great thing. Bad idea, but good outcome.â€ He started to say, before he stopped in mid-sentence.
â€œDoesâ€¦does it have to do with him?â€ she asked as she held her hands tight to her arms.
â€œYes. It does have to do with your friend, Maya.â€ He stood up and walked over to his file cabinet. He pulled out a very thick report, â€œHis name. Itâ€™s in here. Want to see it?â€ He asked as he held it out to her.
She sat there and looked at it, trying to decide if she would grab it, and find out his name, or if she would turn it down and guess it. She made her decision. She would take it. She put her hand out to grab it, and she heard a bang at the door.
â€œWhat was thâ€”â€ she started, before the doctor interrupted her.
â€œNo time to explain!â€ he looked around, and asked her, â€œDo you have any weapons?â€
â€œNo, I gave mine to my partner, when he wentâ€¦you knowâ€¦fiery.â€ She said, trying to sound smart to this sort of thing.
â€œDang it!â€ he looked around, there were no weapons he could give her.
She looked around. She saw some pipes that werenâ€™t in use anymore. â€œWhat about those?â€
â€œPerfect!â€ He said as he looked at them.
She grabbed a large one, and ripped it off. â€œIâ€™m ready for it. Bring it on.â€ The doors kept getting slammed against. She flinched at every hit, just wondering what on the planet it could be.
â€œThis might not be what we think,â€ The doctor said, â€œit could be a survivor trying to get help.â€ The doors broke open and went flying to the side.
â€œI donâ€™t believe it,â€ Was all that she could say at this point, â€œitâ€™sâ€¦you! But howâ€¦â€ was all she could wonder.
