I have to get by my FMA obsession by reading each manga volume over and over again, and also arguing with my friends over 'Father'. She thinks Father is Hohenheim... which is not true. I think. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here has read chapter 70 or 71 translated of FMA, because no one ANYWHERE has shown any translated stuff. ...At least help my cause with proving my friend that Father is not Hohenheim... ...and I still need more support for my side of the 'Scissors War'... I'm still losing...
I'm pretty sure Father isn't Hohenheim, but I think they have a relation. As for Chapter 70... you find out some new info that'll make you crap yourself. http://www.fmahq.com/ should have Chapter 70 and 71 translated.

I told my friends about Pride just now, and they FREAKED OUT. :D It was fun scaring them. I looked everywhere for chapter 71, but most places told me I needed a torrent... so that was impossible, so thanks again!!!!!! Isn't it fun to scare/amaze your friends with information that only you know? By the way, this is a little off topic, but I have to post this SOMEWHERE. The Japanese voice actor of Roy Mustang voices IAGO in KH2. Not kidding. Winry's Japanese voice actor voices Paine (of all people), Lyra's Japanese voice actor voices Yuffie, and Scar's Japanese voice actor voices Setzer.
I actually haven't read the manga, but I've watched the whole series and stuff...do you think I should? Neh...that was kind of off-topic. What happens in this volume, anyway? *keeps her mouth shut about spoilers*
You should!!! (I don't know if I'm quoting correctly... ) I have a preference for the anime, probably because it's the first 'version' of FullMetal that I came into contact with... but the manga is longer, has some more content, more characters, *blabbers on* In this volume... Lot's of stuff involving the manga Pride, Riza, Ed, Winry, Al, and Scar happen. It's so cool!!! ^__^ Read the whole manga over and over again!!! That's what I do! Personally, I think the manga makes more sense in some areas than the anime does.:D :D
Okay, I'll see if I can get my hands on a few copies as soon as I can! I just looove the whole story... I'm glad there are other FMA freaks around here, though! ^^

in the fma manga is kinda like the anime-series but the story is kinda different so half of the manga chapter r similar to the anime but i think vol 8 got off the story of the anime
