have you ever been in an accident?

I've been in two. Both were very minor. The first one was a bumper accident. I was driving, and their was an ambulance. I checked to see where it was, I looked back, the car in front of me stopped suddenly. I slammed on the breaks. but we still bumped. The other was also minor. My friend was driving and was about to move into another lane. A car hit him in the wheel.

 

i was hit by a car and me and my mom were in one, my mom died

 

I was in one recently, I hit someone else. My SUV's bumper hit the other SUV's bumper.

And I paniced. D:

 

I stubbed my toe just yesterday D:

 

A car rammed ours, and didn't stop >:/ Everyone but me got minor injuries, nothin serious.

 

three times.

all of them were minor though.

 

I don't drive, and i don't get into my brother's cars for that reason :P but I had a scooter accident when I was 9

 

I was side-swiped by a big ass truck once -_- They didn't even stop. They sped up and ran (drove?) away. Stupid truck...

 

Several minor, driving with my dad, and 2 major ones of my own.

In my first accident, I was reading directions and didn't notice that the light had turned red, and the car in front of me had stopped. Worst mistake of my life.

Second accident: I was turning left out of our subdivision in fog so heavy, I couldn't see 10 feet ahead. and got t-boned by another car, which I don't think had it's lights on. If I had been going just one mile an hour faster, I would be dead now.

So, both my cars have been totaled, along with the second car hat hit me. My dad also has totaled 2-3 cars, but I wasn't in them when it happened.

Oh, and I scraped my mom's car against the mailbox once. Left a 2-foot-long scratch.

So, after thinking about it, I decided to turn in my license and start taking the bus everywhere. Luckily, here in Boone, we have a free bus system that goes anywhere I need to go.

 

In 2001 my mom was driving past a yellow light with my sister and I in the car (way before it turned red for us, and green for the people driving in the other direction...), but one car decided to go anyway even though his light was still red, and it totaled the car I was in. We spun like 180 degrees and ended up on the other side of the street, but everyone was okay.

 

I have been in several minor and one big accident. It was several years ago, and I was afraid to get in a car after that. Well anyway, I was on the way home from cheer leading practice and my mom and I had stopped by Chik-Fil-A to get an ice cream (this is relevant) so we were driving along and this dude comes over from the other side of the road and his driver's side head light hit our driver's side head light. His car was shorter than our's and it went underneath our car causing it to begin to flip on the passenger side, it broke off the rear view mirror, and then it flipped onto the driver's side, and we went into the air, still flipping. We landed right side up and the car was totaled. My mom and I only had minor injuries though. It was quite scary and I had ice cream all over me afterwards.

 

I have been in a few, some of them minor, some of them not so minor.

I'm still alive, I have friends who weren't so lucky.

 

my dad (and I being in the car) has crashed his car a couple of times very minor though

I chrashed my car 6 times (mostly trees and yes State Farm is not very satisfied with us xD) but other than that no

 

Two years ago I was in my very first and only crash. I was driving.

I was waiting to turn left at an intersection and waiting to see when I would e clear to turn. Just then a car coming towards me in that side's left turn lane decides he's going to go straight instead and hits me on the drivers side from the headlights down to the back door at about 45 mph, and also ran the red light.

I had two passengers in the car with me. None of us were terribly hurt: I had sprained my left foot on impact and had the typical seat belt/ airbags burns, so did my front seat passenger. The passenger behind me had his seat belt lock on impact, so he had some bruising, but nothing too serious. My car was one giant piece of super strong metal. The other car ( a Dodge, I might add) had the driver's side window shatter, so the guy had glass in his arm. All four of us went to the hospital; me and my friends were released within two hours.

I had been cited initially for failure to yield at the light, but I fought the charge and insurance and won. It was finally determined back in October that the other driver was clearly at fault, so we were refunded our deductible. His insurance ended up paying for everything.

I've still got pictures of the cars and the intersection somewhere.

 

I vaguely remember it, but when my Mom, sister, and I (I was only 5 then) were on our way to Wal-mart to get new contact lenses for my sister, we were stuck on a stoplight, and suddenly my sister yelled "THE LIGHTS ON GREEN, MOM!!" And she turned as fast as she could to the next road, we collided with another car. We spun out of control, and hit a curb. The only injury was my head thunked against the window. It didn't hurt though, luckily..

 

I've been in two. Both times were pretty minor. The first time was in a van. The second time was in a tumbling car into the ditch. My brother (not Joseki) ended up getting his chin sewed up. It was pretty intense. The car was flipped entirely upside down. lol

Whiplash is what happens when the car comes to a complete stop but your body is still moving around. It's physics: objects in motion tend to stay in motion. The doctor was checking to make sure your internal organs didn't suffer any damage from being tossed around on impact, and was also probably checking for signs of a concussion because your brain could have been bruised as well.

 

Both of my legs were broken when I was two years old.
I know one of them a high schooler fell on it from a tramplene.

 

well, i've been in two. one when my mum kept reversing her car and hit the neighbours car which was funny though..

and two, I was around in grade 5 and I was catching the bus home. So the bus was just driving along and then this car just banged into the side of the bus. Luckily it didn't flip :)
