I just don't like stuff like that. It's money grabbing and a pain. The gaming industry once didn't care if it made millions, only that it was making great products with great service. And though the quality is still lovely, the service to gamers and how much we spend on this hobby is horrendous. I hate the restriction of it all.
I miss those days, they were fun times :( Im not a fan of the whole "used game restriction". It makes no sense at all. I don't really think there is a way for the system to tell if a game is used or new. I rather use a PS3 if they go on with this.
I would never buy this. Number one, I rarely if ever buy new games. I realize that developers have an issue with people not doing that, but the solution to that is to lower your prices, not come up with some bullshit restriction. I don't have a lot of money to spend on video games, and, especially in this economic climate, much of their audience doesn't either. Video games are played largely by kids and teenagers (not to say adults don't either, just that the previous two are a huge part of the market), who are probably either scrapping the money together themselves or getting their parents to buy for them. Furthermore, I find it insulting almost that they would drop PS3 B/C, especially because they're probably going to gauge us on PS3 game prices put up on the PSN. And expecting someone to be constantly connected to the internet is just unreasonable. Internet connections go down, some people flat out don't have internet, some don't connect their consoles to the internet, etc. I'm really disappointed in this. Thankfully, they're only rumors, and I've only just recently got my PS3. It'll entertain me for quite some time. c:
And the 2nd Video Game Dark Age is upon us. These days I prefer to buy my games used as it's cheaper and I have to conserve my money for other things like payments. This sudden war on used games and used game stores is pardon me, ****ing stupid. I'll stick with my 3DS and my iso/nds files if this is where things are going.
Not in a million years. Sorry Sony but I already have a PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP. Besides I'm off to Uni next year. I will be sad and broke and possibly busy with work (lol). Also 3DS NEXT WEEK :D
