...ever gotten their tonsils out? Im getting mine out tommorow morning, and Im freaking out. 0.0

 

Aren't you supposed to get your tonsils out when you're three or four years old?

Your mouth will be sore afterwards but I think it'll be better after a while. I'll pray for you! :)

 

Nah, it's not a requirement, much how getting your wisdom teeth isn't a requirement if they aren't causing complications in your body.

I still have my tonsils, too.

 

I got mine taken out when I was little, but I'm sure you'll be okay. ^^

Ya, on the bright side, I can sit in bed for a week on the computer and watching movies, eatting ice cream!

its gonna hurt like hell.at first they will burn.than after a couple days there gonna be sore.you eat icecream and it might feel better but ones that ice cold cream is off your mouth your gonna feel alot worse.take if from someone that got them removed -_-

it should be just fine. i read some about that, and if your tonsils are sick, after theyre removed, its usually better for the patient o.o

and its probly for the anasthetic DX *shiver* needle bad... @_@

but like they say, it will be like a mosquito bite [tho based on my experience, id have to infer that mosquito bites sure hurt a lot]

Yeah, I have a small fear of needles too.

When I got my wisdom teeth removed, one of my wounds got infected and literally the doctor scapled my gums to open it up again.

Basically, yeah, it can hurt a bit, and possibly scary, but just remember you have professionals there with you. It'll be okay. =)

 

Ditto. They say only if it screws up your body too much, then out with whatever it is.

 

Its not bad, I got mine out as a kid. It sucks for the first week or so, after that you feel fine.
